Thursday, September 27, 2007: Have you heard the commercial called Why Islam on FM News Talk 92.3 yet? Darrell heard it and wonders what it is all about. It is a group of Muslims ready to talk about Islam? Or is something else at play here? Also today, some lawmakers (Democrats) are floating the idea of raising the gasoline tax. They will do it to save the planet of course in true Al Gore fashion. However, these are the same Democrats that cry about the high gas prices and their effect on “working American families.” An interesting debacle. Did you know, that in Arizona you could punch a co-worker hurt yourself and still get worker’s compensation? It’s just too good to make up. And in the final hour of the show, Darrell talks about the Clinton Mafia and AWOL soldiers being held in Sheriff Joe’s tent city.

Friday, September 28, 2007: Darrell Ankarlo is a believer in the first amendment and it’s protection of freedom of speech. But, he has to admit he is pushed to his limits when a Flagstaff t-shirt maker is putting dead soldiers names with captions that say “Bush lied” and “They died” superimposed over the names of our heroes. So maybe is it time we made a t-shirt for this guy. Also, on today’s Ankarlo Mornings, Darrell plays a song by a group called Tijuana No! called Stolen by Gunpoint. You can see the video in the post below! It’s scary to say, but there are groups that believe this and will do anything to take it back. In the ten o’clock hour, Darrell talks to Leslie Talbot, author the Singular Existence. Are married people treated differently than singles? Leslie believes so. You can read more about her here, http://www.singularexistence.com/. Darrell also talks to Eddie Johanson from The Credit Security Group about credit scores and repairing them. More information about Eddie and his group can be found here, http://www.creditsecuritygroup.com/pages/index.html. In the final hour, Darrell talks about students in Boulder, CO. Some of them don’t want to recite the Pledge of Allegiance the way it is written. They have come up with their own and read it in their high school’s court yard. The new pledge reads, “I pledge allegiance to the flag and to my constitutional rights with which it comes. And to the diversity in which our nation stands. One nation, part of one planet, with liberty, freedom, choice and justice for all.”
Have you ever heard anyone say America was stolen at gunpoint? The group Tijuana No! think so and wrote a song about it. Here is the video (Be advised, it contains some adult language).
