Is former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani conservative at all?  He believes in civil unions, some forms of gun control and was soft on illegal immigrants in New York City. But, there is the compelling side of “America’s Mayor.” He led New York City and the nation after the September 11th attacks. He kicked Yasser Arafat out of a New York Philharmonic performance at the Lincoln Center. Giuliani rejected a $10 million dollar check from a Saudi Prince after the Prince said the U.S. “should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stand toward the Palestinian cause.” The money would have gone towards relief efforts. Mayor Giuliani’s record of reducing crime is also well know in the city that never sleeps. Now, Giuliani is getting heat for his security detail while he was Mayor. Turns out, he used security when he went to see Judith (his now wife). During this time remember he was still married. So it definitely raises some moral question, despite Pat Robertson’s endorsement.

Also on today’s show, is it wrong to discriminate against someone because of what language they speak. Should you assume that people who speak Spanish ONLY are here illegally? Darrell admits he thinks this way. He is not alone.

How about this teacher in the Sudan. She is from Britain and will serve fifteen days in jail for naming a Teddy Bear “Mohammed.” Wow. Sudan is a world apart.

Is Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody a ultimate guys song? Darrell says yes. I think he’s crazy. Watch the video for yourself! And is Freddy Mercury wearing makeup???

Earlier this week we talked about a possible spanking ban in Massachusetts and how the government in continually getting involed in our lives.  David Harsanyi wrote the book on it.  It’s called Nanny State.  It’s scary to actually read up on how much the government is skirting into our lives.

It’s Red V. Blue Thursday and the premiere of the Ankarlo Political Death Match.  It’s a no-holds barred verbal bout to determine supremacy.  Who’s candidate can stand up to the test?  This is a contest that involves you and your love for one of the candidates.  In the first round of Week One Chuck called in for Congressman Ron Paul battled it out with Robert, who supports Senator Fred Thompson.  Thompson came on late, but Paul managed to hold him off winning round one.  In the second round, Paul (the survivor) took on Daniel, representing Senator Hillary Clinton.  Hillary came to play, but Paul defended his round one crown and is one step closer to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.  Chuck will come back next week to defend Congressman Ron Paul.  Do you have what it takes to knock him off?  Week Two of the Ankalro Political Death Match will kick off next Thursday, December 6th at 10 a.m.  Mark it on your calendars and make sure you set an appointment to represent your candidate and win an Ankarlo Prize Pack.

Darrell also wonders if calling someone illegal is the same as calling a black person the n-word.  A local activist said it is.  Though there is nothing about the word illegal that signifies race or creed.  If this is the case, is there something else we can call illegal immigrants?  Darrell ponders over the word cheaters.  Others suggest terms like infiltrator, sovereignty terrorist or border jumper.  But, shouldn’t you call a spade a spade?

Non-verbal communications expert, Dr. Barry Goodfield joins Darrell to talk about the body language used during last night’s Republican You Tube debate.  Fritz Wenzel from Zogby International also discusses their latest poll numbers on the Ankarlo Power Poll.  Sen. Clinton is trending downward, while Sen. Obama is gaining.  On the Republican ticket, Gov. Huckabee is making some moves in Iowa while Mayor Giuliani is holding on to a national lead.  Gov. Romney is showing strong support in New Hampshire and in South Carolina while Sen. McCain continues to struggle.

Meanwhile, someone in the Valley has been spending their time driving their Lamborghini 219 miles per hour while filming it.  Watch it below, but PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT!

All hail the illegal immigrant hero! There is no doubt Jesus Cordova did a great deed.  As he was sneaking into America Cordova came across a bleeding nine-year old boy.  The boy had been in a car accident and help was no where to be found.  Cordova stayed with the child all night long, sharing his jacket with him and building a fire.  By all definitions he is a hero. Above and beyond all that, what’s the deal with Channel 12 and the Arizona Republic?  If a criminal defendant happens to be illegal they won’t mention it.  But, if an illegal does something noteworthy, Channel 12 and the Republic put it in the headline.  Is it hypocrisy?

Across the internet several blogs and posts are asking how we can help Jesus Cordova.  To their credit, if he shows this amount of good will, isn’t he the type we want to come to America? Remember, he still crossed the border illegally.  Republic columnist Laurie Roberts actually says today, she hopes Cordova crossed the border and came back into the country illegally again.  Ankarlo disagrees.

The land of Kerry and Kennedy might move to make it illegal to spank your children.  In case you have blocked those guys from your memory we are talking about the People’s Republic of Massachusetts.  Yes, the same place that was the first to allow gay marriage.  Who wants to be a parent anyways?  The government take over is closer to reality.

And how about a nine-year old getting suspended for a “hate crime.” Yes, it has happened right here in the Valley at Abraham Lincoln Traditional School of all places. According to a blog, the boy was suspended for saying, “brown people.” That’s it? The boy’s mom says her son is not a racist and was coerced by asking if he cooperated with “brown people.”

Darrell also takes a few minutes to complain about how much money he spend on his wife’s birthday.  He directs it all at Dianne.  She pushed him to get more.

Also, on today’s show.  Darrell wonders why President Bill Clinton came out yesterday and said he was against the Iraq war from the beginning.  His wife voted for it.  On that note, there are a few reports out there that the war could come to a close by the end of the Bush Presidency.  Where is the media on this one?  The last one will tear you up.  Some wounded soldiers are being billed by the Pentagon to get their signing bonuses back.  Just when you thought you had heard it all.

Did you see any of the Monday Night Football game last night?  The conditions were awful.  It was downpouring and the field was a mess.  But, is that an excuse not to play the National Anthem?  They skipped it last night in Pittsburgh. They said it was because of the weather and would have taken too long to drag out all the equipment.  It was a nice attempt at an excuse.  But, does it make you mad?  Shouldn’t we all sign the National Anthem before each sporting event? On the other hand, unless it is the Super Bowl or the World Series, the National Anthem is seldom shown on television.  So, is it anything to get upset about?

Darrell is also talking the vote today.  This morning on Good Morning America Newt Gingrich predicted a win for Obama in Iowa.  The polls show Hillary trending downward, while Obama and Edwards are moving on up.  Also, what is up with Mike Huckabee.  The former governor of Arkansas sometimes seems like a conservative others he seems like a liberal.

Patrick Basham from the CATO Institute joins Darrell.  They talk about the latest Middle East peace conference in Maryland.  Why is President Bush doing this now?  And why does it seem like all of our Presidents do this late in their second term?
