All hail the illegal immigrant hero! There is no doubt Jesus Cordova did a great deed. As he was sneaking into America Cordova came across a bleeding nine-year old boy. The boy had been in a car accident and help was no where to be found. Cordova stayed with the child all night long, sharing his jacket with him and building a fire. By all definitions he is a hero. Above and beyond all that, what’s the deal with Channel 12 and the Arizona Republic? If a criminal defendant happens to be illegal they won’t mention it. But, if an illegal does something noteworthy, Channel 12 and the Republic put it in the headline. Is it hypocrisy?
Across the internet several blogs and posts are asking how we can help Jesus Cordova. To their credit, if he shows this amount of good will, isn’t he the type we want to come to America? Remember, he still crossed the border illegally. Republic columnist Laurie Roberts actually says today, she hopes Cordova crossed the border and came back into the country illegally again. And how about a nine-year old getting suspended for a “hate crime.” Yes, it has happened right here in the Valley at Abraham Lincoln Traditional School of all places. According to a blog, the boy was suspended for saying, “brown people.” That’s it? The boy’s mom says her son is not a racist and was coerced by asking if he cooperated with “brown people.”

There are a lot of illegals out there who are good people and care about others. Still he broke the law. The brown skin issue came up with my four year old at my sons basketball practice. She was playing on the playground when the children in after care came out to play. She came up to introduce me to her new friend. My daughter says, “this is so and so she’s black skin.” Her new friend then says “My skin is not black it’s brown see.” She holds her arm out so they can compare skin color. Her friend then goes on for about 5 minutes about how her skin is brown and not black. They are still friends and play together.
Yes that was very compassionate what he did……..but why the big “deal”? the border patrol show compassion to “their” illegal people sneaking ovrr the border every day……..giving water and food for them to survive…….I guess its very unusual to expect an illegal would show compassion as it “rarely” happens……..why not follow this news item……..with how many illegal aliens are killing our people……by driving drunk in hit and run accidents………..and speeding off !!!!!!!!!

Lisa Kathleen Randall was arrested Thursday morning by detectives with the Maricopa County Attorney’s office.
The county attorney said 4-month-old Dillon Uutela was dropped off by his mother at Randall’s home on April 18. Less than two hours later, the Peoria police and fire department were called to her home to help an unresponsive baby.
Uutela died the next day, and an autopsy showed massive brain swelling and a skull fracture.

I could not find any laws about not being able to strike (spank) a child in Michigan. A caller sounded like he was a former officer from that state, but I can’t find any laws about this.
