Hey Roger would’nt it be nice if a vote was cast the same way we use an ATM. Imean if our vote is the most important thing in this Country why more security over money then our electorial process.
Couldn’t find exactly where Ankarlo was talking about this but there was mention of raising taxes, to help attract the superbowl back in 2008. Why?? Any business operating today, takes thier yearly gross, minus expenses, and applies that money (net profit) BACK into their business. Why then can’t our government do the same thing? They were projected to make about 400 million on this in extra revenue. Why not put the increased revuenes in a ’superbowl’ fund, and instead of offering the NFL MORE tax money, AZ knows how much they paid the NFL in tax revenue, instead of spending that extra 400 million, put it in the superbowl fund, and offer a flat amount with maybe 10% increase over what they made from this superbowl?? If they made 50 million off of Az revenues (just grabbing a number) instead of of raising taxes, use the superbowl fund and offer them a flat 60 million from that fund. We can also use this fund to pay our expenses to hsot the next superbowl. Does this make sense to anyone else?? The NFL makes more money, we pay nothing more for it, AND get the revenues AGAIN form the 2008 bowl. Am I just missing anything here?
