Ankarlo Audio: Wed Oct 23, 2007

Get ready for a ride, it was a busy Ankarlo Mornings today. First, Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas drops in to talk about the The Arizona Republic and Channel 12 releasing his home address. Thomas has hired armed security guards to take his children to school. After all, he has put away some very dangerous people. I can understand his frustration. The Senate held a procedural vote today on the DREAM Act. Luckily it failed. It’s another victory for those of us who oppose amnesty. Mayor Phil Gordon hits our airwaves once again because he is billing the Federal Government for the costs of illegal immigration in Phoenix. I’m sure the Fed will act promptly. At least he is trying though.

Our new lineup at KTAR features Glenn Beck. He is in trouble for on both sides of the ailse because of some comments he made on his show this week. Read more about them here, http://mediamatters.org/items/200710220003?f=h_latest. Darrell compares his comments to those of the California’s Lt. Governor, John Garamendi. He says President George Bush shouldn’t bother coming to Southern Cal to see the wild fire damage because it is a public relations move and will be a distraction. You can see his interview with Chris Matthews, here . Really there is no comparison between the two. Garamendi’s comments are more offensive than Beck’s.

Finally, the Chairman of the Board for the American Islamic Forum for Democracy Dr. Zuhdi Jasser joins Darrell to talk about the mistrail of the Holy Land Foundation. They are accused of funding the terrorist group Hamas. Dr. Jasser has been very outspoken on this issue and many others. You can visit his website to learn more about the American Islamic Forum for Democracy here, http://www.aidemocracy.org/.

Ankarlo Audio: Mon Oct 22, 2007

Today on Ankarlo Mornings, Darrell invites Stephen Lemons from the Phoenix New Times to ask him why his paper would publish Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s home address.  And just what does the New Times have against the Sheriff anyways?  There are wildfires burning in Malibu and celebrity homes are burning.  But, why don’t we care?  Is it because we are jealous or because we hate rich people?  Isn’t that what America is all about?  A new report has come out about our schools and they may not be as safe as you thought.  Not from violence, but from teachers who get charged with sexual misconduct.

Ohhhh, the hypocracy

Tuesday, October 2, 2007:  So Rush Limbaugh says “phony soldiers” on his show and the Democrats go nuts.  So does Ankarlo.  Speaking of Democrats, Hillary Clinton has floated an idea of giving $5,000 to every child born in America.  Then they can use it for college or to buy their first home.  Darrell doesn’t think this is the greatest idea ever.  The Ankarlo Mornings Players make their debut on the show.  They bring you behind the scenes of the Brittney Spears custody hearing.  In the final hour, Irving, TX Mayor Herbert Gears joins Darrell.  Mayor Gears is actually one of the people doing something about illegal immigration.  Hear what he has to say.  Also, Isaiah Thomas is found guilty of sexual harrassment.

9-11 Conspiracy?

Thursday September 12, 2007:  The USA Today put out a list of the top 25 news events in the past 25 years.  They listed the fall of communism as the number one event.  Second was the terrorist attacks of September 11th.  Darrell thinks USA Today has them in the wrong order; however, the discussion on Ankalro Mornings quickly turned to 9-11 being an inside job.  It’s a must listen to!  After the conspiracy/black helicopter hour, Darrell talks to Chad Hardy and Jonathan Martin from Men on a Mission.  Chad put together a calender of Mormon men posing without shirts and some people are just bothered by it.  You can read more about it or buy the calendar here http://mormonsexposed.com/.  Jonathan is Mr. April and you can link up with him via myspace here http://www.myspace.com/officialjonathanmartin.  Ladies, be sure to check him out!  In the final hour of the show, Darrell talks to Janie Hartman.  Her son was killed in a traffic accident and she is fighting to keep a memorial in his honor at the crash site.  Darrell thinks it should be taken down.  Ankarlo also chats a little bit about Nancy Pelosi and all the doom and gloom headlines in the news.  Listen to Ankarlo Mornings below.

Ankarlo Mornings 8-17-07

Friday, August 17, 2007:  As Detour Dan always says, “It’s Friiiiday!”  And it was another jam packed Ankarlo Mornings.  Darrell started by inquiring about mines in Arizona to make some money.  After all, there is one for sale on EBay for $99.  Though when we called the gentleman hung up on us.  A 14-year old has been labeled a sex offender for molesting his 4 year old cousin.  Darrell asks if should he be labeled a sex offender for life or should he be forgiven?  Speaking of forgiveness, should the NFL and we as fan forgive Michael Vick if he pleads guilty in the dog fighting case?   Darrell has some thought on that.  He also talks to Malika Dutt from Breakthrough about their new video game called ICED (I Can End Deportation).  They and some of you get into a great discussion about immigration.  Finally, Darrell talks to Jason and Skylar Palermo.  Skylar is on the Chandler Little League team playing in the World Series.  Congrats and Good luck!
