We have all heard who the Chandler rapist is.  The Chandler Police Department has described the suspect as a hispanic male based on descriptions from his victims.  But, Myra Nieves, Vice President of spanish radio 1190 thinks this is profling and wants it to stop.  They claim they sent a letter to the police asking them to not refer to him as “hispanic.”  Ankarlo thinks this is about the most ridiculous think he has heard.  If the suspect is hispanic, call him so.  If the subject is white, call him so.  If the subject is black, call him so.  Are we going to have have to describe suspects now as a person, between 5 and 7 feet tall, weighing somewhere between 100 and 400 pounds?  Political correctness could destroy us all. Myra Nieves from 1190AM even calls into Ankarlo Mornings to explain her point of view. Then hangs up on Ankarlo. It’s a must listen!

Veteran’s Day is on Sunday.  And it startling that one of every four homeless are Veterans.  How can this happen in the USA?  We send men and women off to fight battles and don’t care for them when we come back.  They see things we can’t even dream of seeing.  We’ve all looked the other way for too long.  It’s time to help.  Thankfully there are groups like US Vets that are doing great work.  Darrell talks to Steve Peck from that organization today to see what we can do to help. He also talks to Daniel Borochoff from The American Insitute Of Philanthropy.  His group rates charities to determine how much charitable giving they actually do.  You wouldn’t believe how some ”charities” work.  Some of the charity heads are living lavishly.  It’s stunning.  Let’s do what we can to help.  Soldiers Angels is another place to help.
