Here’s what happened on Doug and Wolf:
* Kurt Warner came in for Matt Leinart and almost led the Cardinals to a victory. Who will start on Sunday for the Cardinals? We took calls on yesterday’s game.
* Milton Bradley and an umpire could help the D-Backs to an NL West. Wolf’s Rockies are red hot and could win the NL Wild Card.
* DW goes through the top games and news coming out of yesterday’s NFL games.
* We get into a debate Buffalo Wings and Crab Cakes. Some how the country of Buffalo has polluted Wolf’s mind again.
Grid Iron Griddle:
The specials on today’s menu were Notre Dame’s historically bad start to their season. Doug and Wolf comment on Charlie Weis’ arrogance and how he is getting what he deserved. ASU debut in the top 25, how good are they?
Guests:
Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt: Coach Whisenhunt talked about the quarterback situation. Whisenhunt would not comment on the controversial Adrian Wilson hit. He said that nothing good would come from it.
D-Backs play-by-play voice Greg Schulte: Greg warned that the Pirates will not lay down in their three game series with the Dbacks. He is a little fearful of the final series of the season with the Colorado Rockies.
Tomorrow’s Show:
Dennis Erickson, ASU Football Coach at 7:20
Bertrand Berry, Cardinals Defensive End at 8:00
