Doug and Wolf: September 26, 2007

Here’s what happened today on Doug and Wolf:

* Shawn Marion told numerous media outlets he wants to be traded. Should the Suns keep’em or trade’em? The guys give their opinion and take calls.

* Doug & Wolf get in an REO Speedwagon mood and say “It’s time for Marion to fly” and “He can’t fight this feeling anymore” Cue the symbols!

* D-Backs lose a heartbreaker last night. The Padres will continue to free fall and watch out for the Rockies.

Grid Iron Griddle:

Doug and Wolf give their NFL Power Poll. They are now both believers in the Pack.

Guests:

ESPN baseball insider Buster Olney: We gave Buster his props for picking the D-Backs and sticking with the team through the ups and downs. He did say that the Rockies are so good right now that if they make the playoffs, they will go to the World Series.

NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka - Powered by BodogFootball.net: Ditka said that Rex Grossman is not the only reason for the beginning of the season. Coach Ditka believes the Bears offensive line and defense are overrated. He knows that Matt Leinart is the future of the Cardinals, but doesn’t know if Kurt Warner doesn’t give the team a chance to win now.

D-Backs play-by-play voice Greg Schulte: Greg said the good news coming out of last night’s game was that the Dbacks are still in first place. He is hoping the Dbacks wrap up a playoff spot before they get to Colorado.

Tomorrow’s Show:

Bob Davie, ESPN College Football Analyst at 7:20 AM
