Doug and Wolf: October 18, 2007

Here’s what happened today on Doug and Wolf:

* ASU running back Ryan Torain is out for the season. DW discussed what this means injury will mean for the team.

* Manny is being Manny again. Yesterday, Manny Ramirez said that it is not the end of the world if the Red Sox lose in the ALCS. Doug went crazy and Wolf didn’t have problem with it.

* Jimmy Kimmel has been banned from Monday Night Football because his comments about Joe Theismann. DW thought it was very funny.

* Wolf secretly wants to be a pizza delivery guy. Lions Wide Receiver Roy Williams doesn’t tip the pizza guy.

* Doug gets his man card ripped from his girly hands for drinking and liking peach wine.

The Grid Iron Griddle:

How important is the Rose Bowl to the Pac-10 and Big 10 schools. Doug said it is very important and could lead to the secession of the bowl from the BCS. Wolf thinks that Doug and both conferences are crazy.

Guests:

CBS NFL Analyst Steve Tasker: Former Bill and long time Buffalo resident, Steve Tasker dispelled the Wolf’s version of Buffalo. Steve said that the Jaguars are the third best team in the AFC behind the Patriots and Colts.

ESPN college football analyst Bob Davie: Bob doesn’t think that South Florida is the second best team in the country. The Ohio State football MVP is the schedule. They really haven’t played anyone.

Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano: The governor gave her thoughts on the Dback’s season and the favorites to play in this year’s Arizona Super Bowl.
