Doug and Wolf: October 22, 2007

Here’s what happened on Doug and Wolf:

* Cardinals lose ANOTHER heartbreaker. This time on the road against the Redskins. Doug & Wolf debated what went wrong and if Whisenhunt made the right call on the two point conversion.

* The guys agreed that Neil Rackers’ missed field goal cost the team the victory. Penalties and turnovers were a bigger factor.

* Guys give credit to ASU for a good weekend even thought they didn’t play. They are now fourth in the BCS and got an oral commitment from John Elway’s son.

Grid Iron Griddle:

We previewed the Monday Night Football game between the Colts and Jaguars. The Cardinals can still win the NFC West because the division sucks.

Guests:

ESPN NFL analyst Eric Allen: Eric was all fired about his ASU Sun Devils. He has been very impressed about the Giants and their defense.

Cardinals football coach Ken Whisenhunt: Ken went through what caused the team from winning on the road against the Redskins.

ESPN recruiting coordinator Tom Luginbill: Tom gave his thoughts on Jack Elway and how he will fit in a Dennis Erickson offense.

Tomorrow’s Show:

Dennis Erickson, ASU football coach at 7:20 a.m.

Bertrand Berry, Cardinals defensive end at 8:00 a.m.
