Please don’t tell me you’re serious when you justify ranking the Colts ahead of the Packers because they scored more and allowed fewer points. The Colts 402 pts scored vs. the Packers 394 (8 total for those counting) is less than one point per game. Same goes for the defense 231 (Colts) and 243 (Packers). At least choose something sensical, like opponent winning percentage where the Colts hold the edge (91-91) against the Packers (85-97). Considering the Colts play in the vastly agreed upon “superior” AFC, this is a more telling statistic. Besides, if you give back the TD that the NFL admitted the Packers should have gotten (http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/10/17/nfl-admits-mistakes-on-terrell-owens-bubba-franks-force-out-cat/), then it’s only a one point difference over the course of 14 games - Hardly a telling stat.
While I’m on my soapbox, I really love listening to you guys (both Doug and Wolf) on my daily commute, but PLEASE stop saying “Jag-wires”!!! It’s pronounced “Jag-wahrs” …or “Jag-yoo-ars” if you’re a Limey.
