   R.J. - it’s an uppercut to a lower region of the male anatomy that if you get hit there it makes you want to simultaneously want to crap your pants and blow lunch…

   The brett Favre situation is becoming laughable. Yes, Favre has earned much respect. But how many other stars with their careers in waning have hung on a season or two, or three, too long? Yes he had a great season last year. But that season followed a few which had hardly done anything to help his legacy. At times he was just bad. I for one got tired of listening to play by play and color commentators give him a free pass for bad play simply because of who he is. Last season was good, but an anomaly. He should have retired three years ago. The odds of him pulling off a season like last year’s are nill. Lets not forget Joe Montana, Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, etc, etc, all guys who stayed way too long. It’s time for Favre to ride into the sunset and let his team do what it needs to do: Start preparing for it’s future, as it should have been doing for the past three seasons.
