Now that I have extra time on my hands, I've been digging into your theory and you're on to something. Just look at the second round match ups (assuming all the favorites won).  Bama/Penn St. is a classic. You get a rematch of Texas/Tex Tech. Ok/Utah to see if the Utes are for real, and finally Florida/USC which most people wouldn't mind watching for the national championship.  You can't tell me Rd 2 wouldn't sell out across the board.  And I, along with most people, would post camp on their couch all weekend. I've got spare time.
