The playoff had its first upset of the tournament when USC traveled to Alabama and took care of business (according to you, and was that really an upset? I guess only in the standings). We are now down to four and arguably everyone’s top four teams in the country this season. No home field advantage this round as the games take place at neutral sites, the other BCS games. First we will have Oklahoma taking on USC in New Orleans at the Sugar Bowl. The other semi-final will see Texas battling Florida in the Rose Bowl. The winners will then play in the Fiesta Bowl for the DFCFB Playoff Champion. Here is a look at how the Round 2 matchups ended and if you would like to see what the bracket looked like in Round 1 you can see it here. Next week leading up to the actual BCS Championship game we will have the DFCFB Championship game and see where we end up. Personally, the last three weeks of these games below have been better than 30 plus days of not watching these four teams.
Oklahoma over Penn State 239-27 (90%-10%)
Florida over Texas Tech 211-40 (84%-16%)
Texas over Utah 225-29 (89%-11%)
USC over Alabama 202-53 (79%-21%)

Now these are some matchups… Maybe plus one wouldn’t be so bad.
SEC vs. Pac-10 early… Come on Big 12. I’d love to see both match-ups, still think Texas isn’t getting the respect.
