Here’s what happened Friday on Doug and Wolf:
*Tiger Woods announced he will be returning to competitive golf this weekend in Tucson, thus making golf relevant again.
*Wolf thinks: “It is never good for any human being to have that large of a personal monopoly on a sport.” Doug thinks: “When Tiger Woods isn’t playing no one cares about golf”
* Suns not making a move at the trade dead line, was a good move according to D&W
* Wolf thinks: “You can’t say that Sarver doesn’t want to win. The majority of moves made by him were to win championships.” Doug says “I’m still not willing to forgive the past blunders of Johnson, Thomas and selling draft picks.”
* Reports have surfaced that A-Rod’s steroids weren’t legal in the Dominican Republic. Doug: “When you lie, you leave us to second guess everything you say.”
Grid Iron Griddle:
Anquan Boldin’s agent stated recently that he will resign with the Cardinals if the deal is right.
Wolf predicts that Boldin will sign an extension within a year. However he will have to accept less money than Larry Fitzgerald
The top priority for the Cardinals is resigning Warner and then they will get to Boldin.
