Suns: Championship Team?

Here’s what happened Wednesday on Doug and Wolf:

* Are the Suns a championship team? Suns GM Steve Kerr doesn’t think so.

* Even though Amare is not playing, he is still critical of former head coach Terry Porter. Can the Suns win a championship with Amare?

* Eric Byrnes is 2 of 18 this year from the plate, including a walk-off single last night in the bottom of the 10th inning, which gave the D-Backs the 7-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. After the game, Eric Byrnes did not speak to the media. Do you have a problem with that?

* Wolf is infatuated with The Edmond Fitzgerald.

Grid Iron Griddle:

NFL schedules were released yesterday, and there are plenty of good match-ups, including here, in Arizona.

Guests:

Steve Kerr, Suns GM: Steve talked about the last game of the year and what is to come in the off-season.

Keith Law, Espn.com Baseball Insider: Keith spoke about the D-Backs in the early stages of the season.

Paul’s Call: Paul Calvisi takes his sports seriously, without taking himself too seriously. Your daily dose of irreverence, angst, and stupification.
