Back at camp in Flagstaff

Here’s what happened Monday on Doug and Wolf:

Doug & Wolf are LIVE from NFC Champ Camp in Flagstaff

* The Cards are already dealing with injuries as receiver Steve Breaston has an MRI on his shoulder and rookie running back Beanie Wells sees only limited practice time with a lingering ankle problem. What’s the one position the Cards can’t afford any injuries at?

* Tempers flair as the D-backs had a wild weekend series against the Dodgers. Mark Reynolds hit his 37th homerun this season as Trent Oeltjen seems to be cooling off going one for ten against the Dodgers.

* Michael Vick sat down with 60 Minutes James Brown to discuss his signing with the Eagles. He explained that he has made a lot of mistakes and that he cried many nights when he was in prison. Did he seem remorseful?

* Y.E. Yang (-8) beat the favored Tiger Woods (-5) Sunday to win the PGA championship. Tiger began Sunday’s round 2 strokes ahead of Yang and Padraig Harrington. Did Yang win or did Tiger just choke?

Grid Iron Griddle:

Several unnamed Vikings players seem to think that Brett Favre will be the starting quarterback in September for the season opener against the Browns. Favre seems only to be skipping out on training camp again. Who should be the starting quarterback for the Vikings?

Guest:

Ken Whisenhunt, Cards Head Coach: Coach Whisenhunt discussed Steve Breaston’s shoulder injury and why Beanie Wells only saw minimal practice time this weekend.
