Beanie Wells time

Here’s what happened Friday on Doug and Wolf:

* The Cards prep for their third preseason game tonight against the Packers. Rookie running back Beanie Wells says he’s ready to put his ankle injury behind him. Will Wolf be able to control himself when Beanie plays tonight?

* Michael Vick made his return to the NFL last night going 4-for-4 and 19 yards. Eagles head coach Andy Reid shifted Vick and McNabb several times in the six snaps in which Vick participated. Will Vick help or hinder the Eagles offense?

* D-backs get set for their weekend home series against the Astros. Will Mark Reynolds surpass Albert Pujols in home runs tonight?

* Broncos’ wide receiver Brandon Marshall has a bad attitude, swatting passes and kicking footballs like a child. Has he ruined his chances for a trade?
