Doug and Wolf: September 25, 2007

Here’s what happened today on Doug and Wolf:

* Are the Suns laying the groundwork to trade Shawn Marion? It certainly sounds like it. We debated if Marion should be traded.

* The Padres and Mets are free fallin’ (cue Tom Petty). Doug & Wolf believe that the D-Backs need to take care of business against Pirates and not leave it up to the Rockies series.

* Wolf gives us an update on his Colorado Rockies baseball team.

* Who are the world’s ugliest men and where does Tom Petty rank in this conversation?

Grid Iron Griddle:

Oklahoma State football coach blows up at a columnist about a story she wrote. Did he have the right to do that and when is it ok to criticize a college athlete?

Guests:

ASU football coach Dennis Erickson: Coach Erickson talked about the Sun Devils cracking the top 25 and their first road trip of the season.

Cardinals defensive end Bertrand Berry: Bertrand gave us a player perspective on the Cardinal quarterback controversy. Like Wolf, Bertrand didn’t understand the penalty on Adrian Wilson.

Tomorrow’s Show:

Buster Olney, ESPN MLB Insider

Mike Ditka, NFL Hall of Famer

Ed Cunningham, ESPN/ABC College Football Analyst
