As a rookie with the Skins I was talking to some of my fellow rookies about growing up in Alaska, I had just gotten off the phone with my sister who taught school in an Eskimo village, just off the Kuskequim River.

She was heading back for another year of school and she was telling me about the kids having their stinkhead festival soon. Of course, I asked what the stinkhead festival was, and she informed me that the villagers would catch the first run of salmon, cut off their heads, bury the heads in the ground and dig them up 4 to 6 weeks later to eat the rotten heads.

Henceforth the name stinkheads. As you can imagine, my sister told me the smell permeated the village.

As I told the story, some of the veteran players had overheard these alaskan tales, and being that I was from Alaska they instantly dubbed me stinkhead.

Not too long after that, that nickname was shortened to stink and the rest is history.

Now it is true, that I used to pee my pants during games, but my incontinence problem has nothing to do with the nickname.
