Haren is clutch

Here’s what happened Friday on Doug and Wolf:

* Dan Haren was clutch in last night’s D-backs 5-2 victory. Now only 6 ½ games back in the Wild Card, it’s never too early to make a postseason push.

* LeBron’s triple-double sparked the Cavs to a 112-102 win over the Magic. Heading back to Orlando, who has more pressure to win Game 6?

* After hearing news Tom Brady’s supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, is not pregnant, Wolf is thinking about adding a new child to his family.

DW reacted to a story regarding JJ Arrington’s status with the Denver Broncos. They don’t seem to understand what GM Pat Bowlen is doing with his team.

Greg Schulte, Voice of the Diamondbacks: Greg discussed last night’s Dbacks win over the Atlanta Braves. He said the offense is looking much better, and Justin Upton’s bat is leading the way.

Bullpen blowing up

Here’s what happened Thursday on Doug and Wolf:

* The D-backs bullpen gets blown up again. How do we solve this gas fire?

* Should the D-backs do anything to honor Randy Johnson when he gets win 300?

* Is the NBA going to lose its dream matchup of Kobe and LeBron?

* Fran Tarkenton takes a shot at Favre. Wolf agrees with some of what Fran said.

Wolf talked to Kurt Warner. Wolf said that Warner’s hip should be ready for training camp.

A major collapse

Here’s What Happened Tuesday on Doug and Wolf:

* D-backs collapse (not exaggerating) a 7-1 lead in the seventh and lose in the tenth. What happened to this team that two years ago couldn’t find a way to lose? Oh, how the tides have turned.

* The bullpen blew a big lead yesterday, but the bats are coming around for the D-backs. Does this team deserve patience?

* The Denver Nuggets beat the L.A. Lakers last night 120-101 to even the series at 2-2. Are the Nuggets in control, or did Dahntay Jones’ dirty play get Kobe fired up?

* The Vikings said Brett Favre has until this weekend to decide whether or not he’ll join the team. Also, New Orleans Saints’ Jeremy Shockey was diagnosed with “dehydration” after passing out a Las Vegas party.

* Tim Kempton, Suns Color Analyst: Tim discussed the NBA playoffs and said the Lakers’ role players need to step up in the team hopes to make the Finals.

* Josh Byrnes, D-backs General Manager: The GM joined the guys after the tough loss on Monday. Talks about how the team has done since the change.
