Cards start practices

Here’s what happened Friday on Doug and Wolf:

* David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez are confirmed to be among the list of players who tested positive for PED’s in 2003. Are you surprised?

* D-backs’ pitcher Yusmeiro Petit earned his first victory of the year en route to a 4-0 victory over the Phillies. He has pitched well enough to remain in the rotation?

Here’s what happened Friday on Doug and Wolf:

* Dave Burns is in for Doug.

* Mark Buehrle adds a perfect game to his resume in addition to the no-hitter he threw in 2007. How will this game be remembered?

* Although the D-backs won the first of a four game series against the Pirates, Dan Haren struggled. Should the team be worried that he will slip into a slump?

* Favre is “anguished” over his decision to return to football. Yoda is sick of hearing about it.

* Dave gets his man card ripped up for not having Sinatra on his iPod.

The NFL will expand the 2010 draft to include a third day. However, the addition includes moving the first round to a Thursday night primetime slot to compete with popular sitcoms. Is the NFL making a mistake with these changes?
