Leno’s monologue last night joked about yesterday’s amazingly safe aircraft landing in the Hudson River. Is it too soon? Doesn’t the fact that nobody died make it okay to have fun with it?
Hopefully, you won’t ever be in a plane crash but, in case you ever are, we’ll tell you the best strategies for survival. Also, excuse me but, “women and children first”? How did that start and why does it persist today?
The operations staff at the Palo Verde nuclear power plant won’t be allowed to watch Sunday’s big game on t.v. and my response to that is a resounding “Whew!”
The Cardinals’ chaplain says the team feels that good things are in store for them and that prayer has kept them strong.
