Should teachers receive merit based pay?

John and Maggie Anderson call it the Ebony Experiment…they’re only buying from black-owned businesses for a year…does this breed racism, or is it a good idea?

    Yes good teachers should be rewarded. I also think the way we teach our kids by age is wrong. I think it should be based on ability, maturity. Every kid does not grow up at the same rate. Promote on there ability to move on to the next level of learning. Right now they herd them through school like cattle. All they want is there butts in school so they receive that money the government.
    P.S. Moved here from California in 2005 been a fan since. Central California where they still have some people with common since!!!!

    Merit based pay will only work if evaluations are made by an unbiased person. In most cases, they will be made by people not qualified to judge them - their fellow admin/teaching staff. Jim
