The Joe Crummey Show–Friday, November 14, 2008

A priest in South Carolina tells parishioners they shouldn’t take Communion if they voted for Obama because he supports abortion.  His church doesn’t seem to be getting behind him, which seems like a glaring contradiction when you consider that Catholic teaching says abortion is murder.

An American Idol wannabe apparently commits suicide outside Paula Abdul’s house.  Sounds like Paula Goodspeed was obsessed with Abdul and went into an emotional tailspin after the panel panned her performance.  So, can we blame the show’s penchant for humiliating contestants?  Maybe we can.

I finally joined Facebook and now the friend requests are coming in like gangbusters.  But, what if I don’t want a zillion friends there?  Maybe there are some perfectly good reasons not to add everyone who asks.

We’re talking bailout tonight, as well, because that’s just the world we’re living in right now.  We’re back on Monday.  Have a great weekend!

Facebook seems to be more of an adult site. My space seems to be geared towards teens. Facebook seems to be more technical and it seems more open to the public. Either one lets you be what ever you want to be, your alter ego comes out, but its kinda a pain that everyone can get into your business. The wierd thing about using these sights is, when you get together you don’t have much to talk about and if you do, the avid users run home to publish pictutes and write blogs almost as soon as it happens. Do you think its like living in the public eye like a celebrity. Just some thoughts…
