Equality Action Now leader Tina Reynolds is staging a gay-out on Wednesday. She wants workers to call their jobs and say they are just too gay to come in. The idea is to protest voter-approved anti-gay marriage legislation. I emphasize voter-approved because I think that’s the adjective that should end the matter.
A Scottsdale couple has their baby back—thank their lucky stars!—after a car thief sped away with him. The thief abandoned the car, presumably, after he realized he had a little passenger along. I think you’ll agree, this happens way too often. Should there be charges here?
Barack Obama admitted it to Tom Brokaw over the weekend. Oprah Winfrey says she’s done it too! They’ve both fallen off the wagon at times.
We’ll also hear a deeply disturbing recording of accused serial shooter Dale Hausner, as he apparently jokes about murder with his little girl.

You ain’t a woman JOE and you better QUIT while you’re ahead;
FAT CHICK is cruel so I may not listen to you any more
Glad the doctor called in !
I believe as a woman who has been a yo yo at times
Oprah is doing good to be honest about her weight
So many young woman think they have to starve to look Beautiful
genetics
lifestyle
ethnicity
NOT liking to exercise do take a toll
Yo Yo ing is nearly a standard thing for some of us women -
in America- any woman who has been sexually abused as Oprah was must overcome some issues about the appearance of her body
Underactive thyroid definitely could play a big part
I’m sorry that you chose to be kinda cruel and trashy about Ms. Winfrey who I don’t watch very often.
Wonder what you would say if your wife or girl friend gained weight.
A few things…
I found your joke about not calling in to work because people might think your gay, quite insensitive. That’s the problem still today. Do you really think people would think that? And if they did; so what! You make it sound like a bad thing.
Also, you made a comment about all day kindergarten. You said that it was passed so that parents would have free daycare. Honestly? Read the research and you will find that many feel that it’s imperative that these young students be introduced and exposed to all that they can learn to make their entire school experience beneficial. And in a state that is consistently rated low in education, someone needed to intervene and make some changes.
Please don’t make statements that are not based on facts. You are entitled to your opinion, but all-day kindergarten was NOT passed to replace daycare.
I have tuned into your show this week as I drive home at night. Honestly, I think your opinions are based on trite examples; comparing apples to oranges in many cases. I only hope that listeners don’t take your statements at face value AND can come to their own opinions.
