Time to open a dialog with Muslims?
September 28, 2007
Thursday, September 27, 2007: Have you heard the commercial called Why Islam on FM News Talk 92.3 yet? Darrell heard it and wonders what it is all about. It is a group of Muslims ready to talk about Islam? Or is something else at play here? Also today, some lawmakers (Democrats) are floating the idea of raising the gasoline tax. They will do it to save the planet of course in true Al Gore fashion. However, these are the same Democrats that cry about the high gas prices and their effect on “working American families.” An interesting debacle. Did you know, that in Arizona you could punch a co-worker hurt yourself and still get worker’s compensation? It’s just too good to make up. And in the final hour of the show, Darrell talks about the Clinton Mafia and AWOL soldiers being held in Sheriff Joe’s tent city.
Be warned: The American invasion is coming…

Friday, September 28, 2007: Darrell Ankarlo is a believer in the first amendment and it’s protection of freedom of speech. But, he has to admit he is pushed to his limits when a Flagstaff t-shirt maker is putting dead soldiers names with captions that say “Bush lied” and “They died” superimposed over the names of our heroes. So maybe is it time we made a t-shirt for this guy. Also, on today’s Ankarlo Mornings, Darrell plays a song by a group called Tijuana No! called Stolen by Gunpoint. You can see the video in the post below! It’s scary to say, but there are groups that believe this and will do anything to take it back. In the ten o’clock hour, Darrell talks to Leslie Talbot, author the Singular Existence. Are married people treated differently than singles? Leslie believes so. You can read more about her here, http://www.singularexistence.com/. Darrell also talks to Eddie Johanson from The Credit Security Group about credit scores and repairing them. More information about Eddie and his group can be found here, http://www.creditsecuritygroup.com/pages/index.html. In the final hour, Darrell talks about students in Boulder, CO. Some of them don’t want to recite the Pledge of Allegiance the way it is written. They have come up with their own and read it in their high school’s court yard. The new pledge reads, “I pledge allegiance to the flag and to my constitutional rights with which it comes. And to the diversity in which our nation stands. One nation, part of one planet, with liberty, freedom, choice and justice for all.”
Did Chief Harris call Ankarlo a racist?
September 25, 2007
Tuesday, September 25, 2007: Darrell starts today’s show by taking the United Auto Workers Union to task. Of course, this is the same guy that was considered a scab for a couple weeks in his college days. But, Ankarlo asks if the Union is being immoral by striking against General Motors. Also, did Phoenix police Chief Jack Harris call Ankarlo a racist? He wrote an opinion piece calling a talk show host a “useless gasbag.” You can read it here, http://www.azcentral.com/news/aztalk/forum/articles/0924forum_chief.html
And what about movie critics? Do you listen to them or think they are full of it. Darrell, Diane, Rob and you discuss. Listen below.
It’s time to act…
September 20, 2007
Thursday, September 20, 2007: Today, Darrell Ankarlo is fed up. It is time to act. The federal government won’t do anything about illegal immigration and hasn’t done anything since 1986. The state of Arizona passed the employer sanctions bill which should take effect January 1st, 2008 (depending the outcome of a lawsuit). Even though, this law has passed, several lawmakers in the state say illegal immigration is a federal problem. Local governments are saying the same thing. No one wants to act. It is time for us to act. Listen below…time to act coming soon…
The passing of another police officer…
September 19, 2007
Wednesday, September 19, 2007: O.J. Simpson is released on bond today. Darrell reacts. Where will “The Juice” run to this time? Who knows? But, we can be sure the cameras will follow him. Darrell is outraged today because an illegal immigrant killed Phoenix police officer Nick Erfle. It’s a must listen to. Darrell also welcome Ginger Gilbert to the show. Her husband, Major Troy Gilbert was killed in Iraq. Mrs. Gilbert is outraged at the media’s coverage of her husband’s death. In fact, the Associated Press has published Al Qaeda released photos of Major Gilbert. In the final hour of the show, Darrell talks to Gene Policinski, the Exec. Dir. of the First Amendment Center. Darrell asks if our right to free speech is being eroded away. He also has some comments about Kathy Griffin’s Emmy’s speech. Listen below!
To tase or not to tase?
September 19, 2007
Tuesday, September 18, 2007: A University of Florida student tries to speak/ask questions to Senator John Kerry (before he voted against it). He in stopped by police and then hit with a taser. Darrell asks if we are inching closer and closer to a police state. Senator Hillary Clinton unvieled Hillarycare part 2 yesterday and Michael Tanner from the CATO Institute pops on to explain how this is a bad idea. In the final hour of the show, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jesus Rodriguez updates us on their efforts in the Tucson sector. Also, what’s up with Kathy Griffin’s Emmy’s speech? Listen below.
What is wrong with O.J.?
September 18, 2007
Monday, September 17, 2007: It’s O.J. time…again. This time “The Juice” is in trouble for stealing his own memorabilia. Talk about ego! Criminal Defense Specialist Mark Victor joins Darrell to discuss O.J.’s dilemma. Later, during the show, personal branding expert Tim O’Brien says O.J. is hopeless, but Britney Spears can still be saved. Go figure. Darrell also discusses the DREAM act on today’s show in addition to a plan to allow foreigners serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. And Darrell introduces FM News Talk 92.3’s new guy Mac Watson. Listen below.

At 9:35, Darrell talks to Col. Randall Larsen (USAF Ret.) about a potential bioterrorism threat to the U.S. Col. Larsen has written a book called Our Own Worst Enemy and he is the director of the Insititute for Homeland Security (they have nothing to do with the government). You can read more about him here, http://www.tihls.org/.
Also on today’s show, a terrible heinous crime in West Virginia, another woman kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight because of her outfit, an update on the ASU scholarship program and Khalid Sheikh Muhammed. Listen below!
Ankarlo Mornings 9-10-07
September 11, 2007
Monday September 10, 2007: The voters of Arizona overwhelmingly passed Prop. 300 to deny in-state tution to illegal aliens. ASU seems to have found a loophole because they are not granting illegal immigrant students scholarships to help them pay their tuition. Hear what Darrell thinks. Also, in regards to illegal immigration a 18-year old honor student was deported to Nogales last week. Big deal right? Well, this student doesn’t have a home in Mexico and came here illegally with her parents when she was young. Doesn’t it seem wrong to just leave her there in Nogales? Darrell talks to the founder of Mothers Against Illegal Aliens, Michelle Dallacroce. Darrell also talks about the War in Iraq today because General David Petraeus is giving the much anticipated Petraeus report on the progress of the surge.

Hear Darrell’s thoughts. In the 9 o’clock hour, Darrell opened up the phone lines to whatever you wanted to talk about. Everything from Ignacio Ramos, to legalized drugs to Mexican trucks came up. At ten, Darrell continued his discussion of the Mexican trucks now being allowed into the States. He talks to KTAR’s Kevin Tripp as well as Teamsters Spokesperson Leslie Miller about the program. At 11, Darrell talks to David Freedman, author of A Perfect Mess. Mr. Freedman says a little mess isn’t so bad after all. You can visit his website at www.freedman.com.
