Time to open a dialog with Muslims?
September 28, 2007
Thursday, September 27, 2007: Have you heard the commercial called Why Islam on FM News Talk 92.3 yet? Darrell heard it and wonders what it is all about. It is a group of Muslims ready to talk about Islam? Or is something else at play here? Also today, some lawmakers (Democrats) are floating the idea of raising the gasoline tax. They will do it to save the planet of course in true Al Gore fashion. However, these are the same Democrats that cry about the high gas prices and their effect on “working American families.” An interesting debacle. Did you know, that in Arizona you could punch a co-worker hurt yourself and still get worker’s compensation? It’s just too good to make up. And in the final hour of the show, Darrell talks about the Clinton Mafia and AWOL soldiers being held in Sheriff Joe’s tent city.

Darrell,
I listen to your show every chance I get. Your position is a little off center sometimes, but your targets are excellent. The Why Islam commercial is shocking and very disturbing to me. What’s also disturbing, is the fact that at this writing, you have zero responses to “Time to open a dialog with Muslims?” You’ve interviewed, on your show, authors and experts on terrorism perpetrated by the Muslims in the name of Islam. Here is an author and expert that exposes the threat of Islam and his writings redefines the phrase “wake up call”!!

Please read his website, if you have not already, I’d like to hear your opinion. The United States of America needs a serious wake up call!!…. or we are doomed as a Christian society.

I would have actually been more offended if a Christian church did something similar. I find Christian “extremists,” really scary - even just the fundamentalists give me the heebbie jeebbies.
I was not raised with any particular “religion” - for me Islam is such a different concept that it almost comes across as mysterious. Also, as Darrell said - love the reading/chanting -sounds so cool!
I wish folks would be more tolerant of a variety of religions. Sounds to me like according to any of them I am doomed!
Whatever floats your boat man! Just don’t try to make me do it, or hurt anyone…

As the caveman says “We’re all pink inside”.
From Nigeria to Indonesia, Christians are under siege in virtually every single country in the Muslim world, the victims of countless acts of discrimination, depredation, brutality, and murder that are so widespread and systematic that it can rightfully be called the new Holocaust. This time, however, the perpetrators of this Holocaust aren’t wearing swastikas, but kufi skull caps and hijabs.
We need a wake up before it’s to late.
If the “peace loving” Islamics would stand up and denounce the radical fools in our midst that want to exterminate us, I might take the commercial running on KTAR seriously. Short of that, I almost feel that it is a recruiting message.

I am a proud Infidel, you are probably an infidel too. What these muslim idiots want to do to infidels is not very pretty. BTW I’m not going to convert!!!!! Arm yourself you pansy!!!!
Darrell:
Be very careful here….DO YOUR RESEARCH as to what you are unleashing. The Devil has many tricks and uses the media well.

If Christianity can’t stand the competition from Islam then Islam deserves to win. I think truth will out. In fact, the competition of ideas should help Christians grow stronger in their faith. I’m glad the station ran the ad.

P.S. If Christians don’t like being called infidels by Muslims or gentiles by Jews (or by Mormons) then Christians shouldn’t label those people heathen, unbelievers, etc. Again, truth will out if we face up to our differences. Too many people have no idea of the differences and maybe need to learn the differences so they can defend their faith.
Sounds like a recruiting message to me. To me the most appalling thing here is the horrible marketing. They have to know that Ankarlo’s show is not the place to recruit Muslims. But then again I am Agnostic.
The commercial sounds/music like an ad for Halloween at first impression….
I think it is insulting.
The fanatics will pick up on this message, everyone else is going to blow it off as the propaganda it is meant to be. We must be vigilent though.
God is Love. It does not hurt to love, so stop being so hateful and negative. Every country has a bad person and a good person. Nobody is perfect!!! The color of your skin is not important, the language you speak is not important, the “religion” you are is not all that impressive either.
God sees the intentions of your heart, and the way you live your life. Any questions? read your Bible. King James Version, if it gets too complicated read the New International Version.
Blessings to all of you that live in this world.
If Christians can send out missionaries by the thousands in an attempt to win people to Jesus Christ (recruit), why shouldn’t the Muslims have the right to recruit with their radio ads?
