If you don’t support local teams, go home!

October 2, 2007

Monday, October 1, 2007:  The first day of October finds Darrell very upset at fans who don’t support the local teams.  He watched the Cardinals game yesterday was outraged when he saw the large number of Steelers fans in the crowd.  Not to mention the people lining up to buy playoff tickets to see the Cubs play the Diamonbacks.  Darrell says if you don’t like your local teams, move away.  Also, Darrell talks to Pennsylvania State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe.  Rep.  Metcalfe has been tracking all crimes by illegal immigrants in his state and has compiled a report which you can read here, http://repmetcalfe.com/uploads/Invasion_MetcalfeWEB.pdf.  Maybe someone in our state should do this.  Darrell also talks about Clarence Thomas on today’s show.  He also talks to Phoenix magazine editor Ashlea Deahl.  Did the Phoenix magazine cause a man to committ suicide?

The agent of the Border Patrol accused to assassinate an illegal immigrant will be judged in a federal court instead of one cuts state.

Federal judge David Bury fixed the 26 of February like date for the beginning of the process against Nicholas Corbett, who is accused in the death of the undocumented person Francisco Javier Domínguez Rivera, of 22 years and resident in Puebla, Mexico, in an incident in January to the north of the border.

Bury approved the order of the lawyers of Corbett to send the case to a federal court. Corbett declared innocent of the position in a state court. The public prosecutor of the Cochise county Gerald Till asked Bury who the process began before the this year end, but the lawyers of Corbett said that that was not realistic, dices their calendars of work and the availability of the witnesses.

Investigators said that to Corbett exchange of shots to Domínguez when he tried to capture it, next to their two brothers and one sister-in-law in the outskirts of Naco.

Corbett says that she acted in self-defense. In agreement with the investigators, Corbett said to him to his colleagues who he had shot to a man who seemed that he was going to send a stone to him. But the relatives of Domínguez said that the agent shot to him after pushing to him the ground.

    Ankarlo, dude, chill!

When you’ve lived here a little longer, revisit the subject of loyalty to local teams. I’ll be waiting.

B-cause, Yes the diamondbacks did not only attend a world series, but won in that year by defeating the N.Y. Yankees! But did they appreciate it? Hell No,! Seems like they wanted to put that accomplishment in hiding. The excuse,? “We now have a different owner”. So What! The Cubs are not owned by the Wrigley chewing gum Co. any more, & the newspaper Co. is currently seeking to sell. Do U think they will change the Cubby-Blue?After 60 years? How bout the N.Y. Yankees? The new uniforms very much resemble the St. Louis Cardinals, or the Cin. Reds! Many other teams have changed ownership also. The World Series is what all teams shoot for form the start of spring training. So why paint over all of the awards, & records of the past? St Louis Cardinals have switched owners, & now have a new stadiun. Should they tear-down the statue of Stan (’The Man’)Musuial? (sp?).. Probably not. Thats the main reason I will attend a Diamondbacks game, But in NO - way support them as I have the Cubs, my former home-town team.
p/s kinda seems like the new owners want to ‘erase’ all the dedication us fans gave the former winner of the 2001 World Series Too!

Ankarlo, give me the tickets, I deserve them. I moved here from San Diego and became a Diamondback fan instantly. I have always believed that if you are going to spend your money going to different sporting events you might as well spend it rooting for the home team. That is why I am a diamondback, Cardinal, Suns and Coyote fan. not a Charger or a Padre fan.
As far as you people that move out here from other states because of the great weather, strong economic growth, and oppurtunities for you and your families, yet still fly the colors of the state you are from and refuse to assimulate yourselves as a Arizona sport fan, quit whining about the millions of Illegal Aliens that have come hear and are acting the same exact way. go home Illegals, go home Cubbies. Hey try this….. go home to your significant other. The one your with because of the wonderful happy things they bring to your life and tell them………your EX was better in the sac. Talk about a slap in the face.

Got something to say?
