Obama: Against Concealed Weapons

April 7, 2008

This hasn’t made many headlines yet, but Sen. Barack Obama said, “I am not in favor of concealed weapons.  I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations.”

Wow.  That seems like a blatant liberal anti-gun position.  Naturally, the media is absent on this.

It’s even more ironic because Politico is running a story today, Obama aims for pro-gun vote.

From the article:

Barack Obama did not hunt or fish as a child. He lives in a big city. And as an Illinois state legislator and a U.S. senator, he consistently backed gun control legislation.

But he is nevertheless making a play for pro-gun voters in rural Pennsylvania.

By highlighting his background in constitutional law and downplaying his voting record, Obama is engaging in a quiet but targeted drive to win over an important constituency that on the surface might seem hostile to his views.

The need to craft a strategy aimed at pro-gun voters underscores the potency of the issue in Pennsylvania, which claims one of the nation’s highest per capita membership rates in the National Rifle Association.

So which is it Barack?

Which is it? It all depends upon his audience. Guess that makes him a liar just like the rest of ‘em.

Big Deal! People will carry guns, unless “BLACKWATER” is roaming your streets instead of your “NATIONAL GUARD” and they take them from not only you but your local Police Department and your Local County Sherrifs Department. This is Arizona, and the West, it is wild, it will always be wild.

So Obama has an opinion on Gun Rights. That doesn’t mean that, that will be the concensus of the American People.

John McCain believs in dropping bombs on innocent people and the “ENEMY” without regard to human life. But of course, being born in ”COLO SOLO” panama and not on American Soil I’m not surprised. He was born in a Third World Country, with a “COALITION” COLO SOLO BOAT parked in the canal and in those days, no one had “RIGHTS” not even his 96 year old mother.

So to take the “CAUCASION” side of Barrack Obama and paint him as a person against “ALL GUN RIGHTS” is as though he believes what John “COLO SOLO”

I think Roger needs a nice deserted island somewhere without anyone else so that he only has himself to spew hate upon.

Arizona would be much safer if this was fact.

Hate and Christianity do not mix by the way.

  5. Roger Morris on April 21st, 2008 4:18 pm

Actually Bob, I don’t hate anyone. I never have, I’m gifted that way. I’m spiritually connected that way, and I don’t think hate, or have to deal with racism I overcome it.. I tell the truth, and nothing but. Arizona is my little Island, it has been since “birth” I can prove that I was born in the United States.

I think you can’t handle the truth and would feel much safer if someone would just lie to you, patronize your moment and tell you how great you are.

So what do you propose towards Immigration Reform. They seem to have illegal immigration under control. Brown person, pull them over, Papers Please. I’ve lived abroad, and carried my passport, and understand what that means in a “foreign country” This is Arizona, this is North America not Berlin or East Berlin.

Christianity is what heals Hate, so they do mix, so let yours go and maybe you will have better “faith” Christianity the way you believe and express it.

Why not a little more Christianity instead of Illegal Immigration. How about a little more Christianity when dealing with Illegal Immigrants instead of the Hate that is expressed and “bitterness” that our Sherrif and County Attorney extend to you and your neighbors daily.

How about sending some of that Christianity that you so say you have to a person without faith. They need it, I get my ‘DAILY BREAD”

Sounds as if you are the perfect person, at least in your own mind. Believe me after reading your post referring to your self as “Gifted” and “Spiritually connected” are hogwash.

I cant handle the truth? I handle the truth and I know that right now we have three candidates to possibly lead this country and not one of them is the best of choices. I realize that Illegals are criminals and are breaking the law. Laws we the people supported through our votes to be enforced. Laws that are not unique to the United States, Laws that are very much less restrictive then similar ones in other country. Look into Mexico’s law book and see what “Rights” you would have there. Do the same with Germany or France.

Profiling? Brown People? Show me a way to find any criminal, ANY, criminal without some profiling? You cant do it, not really do it. Some evidentiary facts have to be used to apprehend a criminal. Are they Male? Female? white, black, hispanic? Tall or short? lean or heavy? Scars , Tattoo’s? on and on and on. You narrow it down to to the nearest denominator and look for them. Since the majority of illegals are “brown skinned” stands to reason that the majority would be sought.

Christianity does not govern Law. The constitution provides for that. Morality does not apply to law. Those morally opposed can lobby to change a law, not ignore it. Those who chose, such as you indicate, to ignore our country’s laws should either rally to change them or find a country whose laws you favor and move there.

My age (which is irrelevant) is 54. Your point about my wife and voting and such just supports my words. Woman rallied and changed the laws which were unfair and wrong and in time changed them. Woman did not chose to “Ignore the Law”.

You say you have experienced other countries and that we are not “Berlin”. True we are America. And while our laws are based on a free society and democracy we still have laws in place so as not to “Give it away” to every immigrant. It has a set rules and regulations based on our laws to obtain citizenship. Citizenship that is less strict and easier to obtain then any other foreign nation. As long as our laws are followed and citizenship is obtained by legal, not christian or moral laws there is no problem.

Christianity is in an individuals heart, soul and mind. It is a state of living your life based on the teachings and faith of individuals. It is not what is needed to run a country. Our country is not just a melting pot of nationality but of christianity as well. Our laws are to be either followed, adhered to or changed, not just over looked based on emotion’s and morals.

You can bad mouth me. You can call the candidates names and chose to degrade the system of this country. You can rant like a lunatic about others belief’s just because they differ from yours. None of these things will in fact will bring change.

These are the reasons your posts are immature rants of someone whom sounds insane and out of control. Nothing but a whole lot of smoke with no real fire.

Okay, Bob, so what does your Christianity say about immigrants alike in this country and this state! What does your Christianity say that the Good People of Arizona as a State and as a People do with our immigration problem that we created, and that our two Senators Mr. AzScam Jon Kyl and John Colo Solo McCain did nothing about it over the last 25 years?

I’m not degrading you, I am no bad mouthing you. I am asking you a question, that’s all. What does Bob’s Christianity say he should do unto them now? What does Bob’s Christianity say Sherrif Arpaio should do when it comes to profiling Mexicans or Hispanics, or Native Americans, and Black Americans that are mixed and appear to be JUST BROWN! What does Bob’s Christianity say should be done? What does Bob’s Christianity say we should do about the “REAL ID” even though you do not qualify to get one, because you were not born after 1964. What Bob! Please express your Christianity to a lunatice who just rants, and raves about immature things in life like being profiled, detained, rendered, malicious prosecution, and then let go because it was just a mistake!

    Arizona Christians are all ears!

Easy. Take away every incentive they have or seek. Across the board all 50 states.
Take away health-care, take away jobs, take away all of the things that Mexico tells them to come here and get free. Don’t allow them to fill our ER’s with dozens of familia members seeking free Health checks. Don’t allow these illegals in our schools period. Don’t give them credit cards and drivers licenses. Don’t sell them homes or real estate. Slowly but surely 20 million illegals will leave, on their own without us having to do a thing. Then you will see what real cruelty is. When 20 million return to THEIR country watch how THEIR own treat them.

Is that to harsh for you. To bad. Citizenship and rights are earned. earned the way my parents and my grandparents did. Legally. There is no fine line between Legal and Illegal. Its well defined and needs to be enforced. If the government and we as a people just go by the laws all ready in place adios amigos. But bleeding heart moralists want to save everyone and make their own rules. The trash talking LaRaza’s throw there own children under the bus to make us sad and sorry for them so that we overlook the law and let them continue to bankrupt and destroy our way of life like they did to Mexico.

Sorry, laws are laws. There is a right and a wrong. Illegals do it right. no problem. Do it wrong and pay the consequences just like the rest of us.

Got something to say?
