A slick lawyer has released video from his client’s interrogation by Canadian authorities while at Gitmo. People are up in arms about his treatment and of course, are calling for it to be closed.
The price of oil dropped over $6 a barrel yesterday. This marks the single biggest one day drop in 17 years. Larry Kudlow in National Review says Bush holds a press conference, says drill and price drop. Kudlow adds this shows Bush is right while McCain, Obama and the rest of the anti-drilling politicians are wrong.
Why did Barack Obama change language about the surge on his website? At first, Obama said the surge wasn’t working. Now, it says the troops hard work and sacrifice has led to a “better security situation.”

Don’t get soft on Terrorists

Omar Khadr is not a household name but what happens to this 16 year old terrorist will provide a good snapshot of American values. To refresh your memory, Khadr is the Islamic extremist who, during an attack on US forces, threw the grenade that killed US Army Sergeant Christopher Speer.
The reason I think this story is significant is the scrutiny America is enduring as public opinion, here and abroad, suggests that we provide leniency. Omar’s attorney said,”the tapes do not show a dangerous terrorist, but instead a frightened, wounded, Canadian boy pleading for help from Canadian officials.” He’s reacting to the young man’s wailings in his Gitmo cell where he says “kill me” and cries for his “mommy.” And, people are responding with don’t be so tough on him while others say “
Wait a minute—this terrorist had food, water and clothing. We let the Canadian authorities interrogate this Canadian citizen. Sounds pretty accommodating to me! Before you join the chorus of people complaining about Gitmo Layne Morris, a soldier who was attacked in the same insurgent mission was there when Sgt. Speers was killed. “I’ve seen the real Omar. He is a remorseless man on a mission. A mission to kill as many coalition soldiers, including Canadian, as he possibly can.” So, while we feel sorry for the 16 year old killer cry for him momma let’s not forget how Sergeant Speer’s mother has cried every day since he was robbed from her. Again, watch what happens to Khadr—if we get lenient with him kiss this nation goodbye.

Ankarlo says it’s time for Mayor Phil Gordon and Sheriff Joe Arpaio to stop throwing insults at each other and do something about illegal immigration. Ankarlo also talks to the office “hottie.” The office “hottie” is always able to get guys to do anything around the office. I wonder why that is? And have you heard the number one song in the USA? It’s Katy Perry’s “I kissed a girl.” Does it sound out a bad message for kids and why do men love lesbians?
Guests include: Jon Justice from 104.1 The Truth in Tucson and Ashley, the office hottie.
