Today on Ankarlo Mornings: Ankarlo is live from Barnes & Noble at the Tempe Marketplace. Today, Ankarlo wonders why a man would smoke when he uses oxygen tanks to breathe. A local man has blown himself up doing just that.
There are reports that the Mexican military held a US Border Patrol agent at gunpoint on American soil. They let him go without firing a shot after the agent explained (in Spanish) that they were in America. Whoops says the Mexican government.
Also, contact music has listed the top ten worst songs ever made. Ankarlo reacts.
State Rep. Russell Pearce joins Ankarlo to talk about the flier going around about him and his first marriage as he is running for State Senate. It says he has a violent temper and even struck his wife. Pearce says none of that ever happened.

State Rep. Russell Pearce is running for the Arizona Senate. Of course, he has made his share of enemies along the way with his opinions and positions. And the race against him is getting ugly. An organization called Mesa Deserves Better has published a flier talking about Pearce’s divorce in 1980 in which his then wife said he had a violent temper. Here is the flier.
Lopez Lamong will carry the US flag the Olympic opening ceremony on Friday. He is a victim of the violence in Sudan and has been very critical of the Chinese dealings with his home country. So much for no politics being played at the game.
