Not forgotten, just don’t care

Salim Hamdan, a convicted war criminal is now the poster boy for all that is wrong with this country. The long time driver and part time bodyguard to Osama bin Laden was sentenced to 5 ½ years last Thursday and since he has been detained for 5 he is eligible to be released before the next person occupies the White House.
How sad are we that a man who is one of the inside guys to the world’s number one terrorist, a person who was captured with two shoulder launched missiles in his backseat took on a war crimes court—even as the war still wages and brought us to our knees? Hamden said he didn’t know what bin Laden did and was sorry about the September 11th attacks. If this is the case, why did the interrogator who worked on him share the contents of a tape where Hamden showed “remarkable enthusiasm” when discussing him? 3,000 people were murdered on our soil and we said we would never forget. That was 7 years ago. Ah, how times have changed because though we haven’t forgotten—we have decided not to care.

The symbolism alone is nightmarish. Why do we have our young men and women risking thier lives to fight a war we’ve begun to dismiss?
Look how harshly we prosecute our own soldiers for ‘questionable’ behavior! Hurt the feelings of a detainee and BAM!!! Your life and military career are over…. years and years in the brig. However, if all your doing is helping someone kill 3K Americans…. well, let’s just look the other way!

Travis the outrage ended when President Bush stood up and said “All combat Mission in iraq are over” Six years later, everyone wants to blame the driver! He wasn’t the driver that drove Bin Ladens Family from the Bush Rose Garden Sand Bowling Breafast Club on the Morning of 9/11. That’s like saying the butler did it before the Investigation began. Yes Where was the outcry is right. Where is the outcry today! No news in Iraq Is good News for Republicans. “It’s The Players” you know the guys you like and the guys you don’t like! We have 20,000 iraqi prisoners sitting in prison, so you should send John McCain a Mr. Smoochy card and tell him how great his “SURGE” really helped out to end the Ocupation started by his GOP Culture of Corruption for SEX, OIL and MONEY. Then you should ask him, how many times he watches his David Letterman show on Anthrax, and how bad we should go into IRAQ and defend the War on Terror.

Even though John McCain voted against the very needs of every man, woman, child serving in the military. My kid don’t need no PTSD treatment. He’s just fine! My son doesn’t need to rehabilitate in the manner that fits his needs. My son doesn’t need healthcare, medical care, student aid, I’m an “Elitist” now, a Rock Star. I get paid, I live in the desert and I’ve worn “Another Man’s Sombrero!” My son served, not that other mother, daughter, son, sister, brother, friend, neighbor! Sure John McCain refused to vote for the GI BILL in whatever form at a “TIME OF WAR” at a “TIME OF OCCUPATION” at a time of the “SURGE” and it’s Post Success from the Political Process. John McCain “Mr. Affirmative Action” Capetbagger from Colo Solo Panama Canal Zone 1936, could care less about America. He just wants to have a “LEGACY” a named Presidenit. After that, he is “CRUSTY, RUSTY, AND old and DUSTY when it will come to getting America back on an American footing. A One term President, that a Two term America doesn’t need.
