Depression Obama.
I have been going through a bout with depression lately. In a nutshell, I’m depressed because I am disappointed with this election season. I am just a little freaked that Barack Obama is a step away from the Oval Office and yet most of us know almost nothing about him and when people like me ask—we are openly chastised. The hatred is palpable and that’s what’s disappointing. Look—Obama may be the next president and may be the best we’ve ever had but should we really just follow blindly—without questions? Austria and Germany did it once upon a time but that’s not the American Way! So far we have discounted Rev. Wright, Communist Frank Davis, PLO member Rashid Khalidi, convicted swindler Tony Rezko, terrorist Bill Ayers, Kenya’s murderer Odinga, millions in untraceable contributions, “spread the wealth” and the list goes on. People asking for details are “haters”—or, the one his supporters really like to use, “not ready for a black president.” Is there any chance we just want to know because as Americans—who are trying to vote wisely—we deserve honest answers?

I was wondering what was wrong with me lately - you nailed it - Depression! I am so sick of hearing Obama drone on and on and on - I hit the mute button every time he’s on TV - which is always. I wonder how he gets to brush away with all these negative people who just happen to “live on his block”. Where the heck does he live that he’s exposed to that kind of anti-American influence. I wonder what would happen if John McCain, Sarah Palin or Joe the Plumber hung around with that group, They would be crucified (oh yes, they already have been for nothing of importance). I also wonder about the university that is going to apologize to the Obama family for the hanging figure - who is going to apologize to the Palin family for similar outrages? JMHO
