Liars and Cheaters

December 1, 2008

A new study shows that 64 percent of American high school students cheat on tests and almost one third of them have stolen something from a store, friend or family member sometime in the last year.  Those are some pretty significant numbers.  But here’s the kicker, when asked about their lying, cheating and stealing tendencies 93 percent said they were happy with their personal ethics and character.  The majority cheats and feels good about it.  One researcher said that today’s kids have so many demands placed upon them with athletics, part-time jobs, clubs and college prep that they just have to bend the rules.  Uh, yeah, and so what about the millions who went before them with the exact same issues?  Certainly some of them cheated but not at the numbers represented in this study.  They were nowhere near it.  So what has really happened and could it have anything to do with watching parents take out huge mortgages without huge incomes and a government that steals ever chance it gets?

“It’s tough waiting for an exit strategy or Daddy or Mommy to come home from Iraq” eight years later! It’s better not to believe, “because if you believe you don’t sleep at night.”

Here you have the Republicans and their theft by deception final days happening right before your eyes, and all of sudden theft by deception is a crime 64% of the time!

It’s tough waiting for an exit strategy while trying to cope with no money, no hope, and no daddy or mommy to instill right from wrong, while waiting your own orders to go to war at the age of 18 since the age of 14 when that long High School Journey started!

Got something to say?
