Today on Ankarlo Mornings: Are you calling in “gay” or “queer” tomorrow? A group of activists is pushing people to call in sick to work tomorrow to protest those against gay marriage. Ankarlo says if one of his employees did this to him he’d fire them.
Also, Ankarlo talks to Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon about the upcoming radio drama production of A Christmas Carol. The Mayor plays the role of “delivery lad.” They also chat about light rail and lighting Phoenix’s Christmas tree.
Dr. Dennis Paulaha has unveiled a new bailout plan that lowers people’s mortgages and says Congress should focus their efforts there. He explains his plan. But, did you also hear some people are defaulting on their mortgages a second time. This is after they were given government help. Ankarlo says can’t we just accept that some people aren’t meant to own homes.
In the final hour, Ankarlo admits he called Diane “frumpy” yesterday thinking it was a compliment. Diane straightens him out.
