Today on Ankarlo Mornings:  Bernie Madoff ripped off billions of dollars from people and he won’t be waiting in jail for his trial.  He was left in his luxury apartment.  Ankarlo is outraged at this.

Did you know your taxpayer dollars are paying for cell phones for low income people.  Those cell phones include text messaging as well. Great.

Ankarlo also spends a few minutes with Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon.  They talk about cutting the budget and if that will include public safety.

In the final hour, the NYPD wants the power to shut down cell phones in case of a terrorist attack.  Ankarlo understands the need for this, but at the same time isn’t this giving up our rights at the same time?

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babue talks speed cameras with Ankarlo.  He’s against them, ran on them and won his election.  Sheriff Babue is fighting to have them removed from Arizona’s roads.
