He Said What?

January 21, 2009

Barack Obama is now president 44.  And, as I have promised, I am going to give him a clean slate in my mind—hoping that he will be the best president ever.  Time of course will tell and like always, I’ll report the good and the bad.  Speaking of good and bad.  It was Reverend Rick Warren who drew protests from gay rights groups–deemed too controversial, who did a fine job with the invocation.  But the guy everyone is talking about is Reverend Joseph Lowery, a civil rights icon, who, as a part of his benediction, prayed to God that “whites will do what’s right.”  No one has protested or really reported on this remark—something that was vetted by the Obama camp before he ever uttered the words.  For the record, Obama looked like he cringed when the reverend delivered the line—and that’s hopeful.  To get leaders from going there in the first place would be even more hopeful—since we’re starting with a clean slate and all.

Ankarlo’s Take is written for broadcast.  You can hear it live during Arizona’s Morning News at 7:20 on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR.

So glad that you have the nerve to exercise your right as part of the media to utilize the ammendment of Freedom of Speech….I feel that media did a wonderful job yesterday of creating a prejudice arena….this is how many African Americans are attending…this is history making with the first black President….however I didn’t feel that the that coverage was as important as a new President being swore… these are hard and difficult times for many….and EOE has protected and promoted other races for many many years with the point systems and regulations….they have not been held back they are afforded more help and rights in my opinion then the average white man….I am sure that the race is proud and they have every right to be proud, and excited…..but giving his color so much weight takes away from the reasons and accomplishments that got him elected…Some may feel I am racist for these opinions…however I am not…and come from a very diverse family….black, brown, and white…..I was positively floored by the benediction remark positive and wishful thinking, prayers to avail success, until it came to the white man….give me a break…just how did that promote Dr. King’s dream….he wanted equality which will never be with all the point systems in place…..and a pray that took place on the day our leader takes office….Yes, Obama cringed at the remark, however, there has been no apology or discussion by our media giants…tisk tisk are they afraid to touch it….it will be interesting to see how this plays out….Congratulation on being the true media that puts it out there and make change….all of this makes me think of the movie Good Night and Good Luck….so that is where i will sign off….

    Darrell,
President Obama is now our president, I did not vote for him but I will support him as any loyal American should. However I must get this last thing off my chest.
As I walked with my wife through our neighborhood I saw several Obama/Biden signs up adorned with flags, balloons and beads. I could not help to wonder if in 2000 0r 2004 if we had a Bush/Cheney sign up what would have been the response, I fairly sure it would not have been reverent respect for our rights as Americans to support the candidate of our choice. I know there was controversy about those elections however our new President has come into office under controversy, election funding, his preacher, and his relations with the Governor of Illinois and on and on. I hope your right, in fact I am right beside you, I hope and pray that our new President is successful in bringing our country out of its current tail spin.
    Thanks for reading this,
    Joe

    Joe:

The only sign, balloons, and beads that Bush or Cheney could have put on a T-shirt for any american “Man, Woman, or child” would be:

“By Removing, the Attorney General, or “striking” Attorney General in the consultation with the Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization, by inserting; Secretary of Homeland Security”

Thus ensuring that the “Brown man” can stay around man! The Red Man can’t get ahead man! The Yellow Man, not being the “Mellow” man, and the White man, continuing to choose not to embrace the “right man.”

Instead of when I was 11, when Bush came into office and when I was 19, I died in Iraq for a lie and yet another lie!

I didn’t vote for Bush, the first time like 50.1 million other people did, and praised him on 9/11/2001 for his “See Spot Run, See America Run” Movie made for Fox Television. I did watch “Bush Knew” for the last 8 eight years, while watching the final “consolidation of you unto him”

The brown man, that can’t stick around man! Go Mein Kempf Joe’s Hotline!

No two taco, rice and beans for you! Because by removing “The Attorney General”, it was like reading Hitlers Mein Kempf while reading the “Bush Doctrine” No difference! Same Delivery of you unto him………born before 1964!

Na Na Na Na! Hey Hey Hey Good Bye!

That was so appropriate, only because 4500 men and women who died in Iraq couldn’t watch this President and all his Men of “Evil Doers” vacate the premises of the Capitol! 1.5 million dead Iraqi “civillians” couldn’t praise the moment that his hellicopter made it’s final round of the Darken Doors of Dick Cheney’s AT&T and Verizon Eavesdropping, Wiretapping and Datamining secrecy Halls!

Na Na Na Na! Hey Hey! Good Bye!

That was so indicative of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Addington, Fielding, and Rice’s “Testifries” towards the “Breathtaking abuses of the Constitution”

Don’t let the door hit you where “Satan” didn’t split ya!

When will the human race be humbled and know its place?
