Today on Ankarlo Mornings: Ankarlo is having a problem with the IRS. It turns out, he owes them some money and they have not been nice to him. He says this is a microcosm of what’s wrong with America.
Also, because Arizona’s budget is coming up short several non-violent offenders might be released from jail. Is this the best idea?
If this was a transaction that took place in 2007 you should have paid the taxes in April 2008. To let it go another year because you were never notified by the IRS is irresponsible. You should have contacted your “financial guy” a year ago to see what to do. When you know a tax is due it isn’t anyones job but yours to get it paid. “Creative financing” is what got this country into the mess we are in now. Plus, you should have known withdrawing from and IRA is nothing to get creative with.
