Old Glory At Sea

Old Glory, on the open seas, has always meant fairness, safety and protection. It has been with deep interest as the world as watched how our naval ships would react to a boatful of Somali pirates. Those same pirates have kidnapped, killed and jettisoned away with millions in ransom money when other countries have been involved, but this time the thugs picked on a cargo ship flying our old red, white and blue. No doubt the captain of one of the awaiting war ships will face some discipline, after all the kidnapped captain, 53-year-old freighter Capt. Richard Phillips was able to jump in the water and attempt a get away but by the time our military made a full ID he had be reclaimed. Folks, there should have been snipers who dared not blink an eye the first time but they got it right the second time around. The Somali pirates aimed AK47s at Captain Philip’s head and that’s all she wrote. Three terrorists were dead before they closed their eyes and the fourth threw his hands in the air. And there was a great lesson learned. Hijack, kidnap and attack other vessels and that’s one thing. Mess with America and it’s the last story you’ll ever tell.

Obama ordered the terrorists shot without a trial or reading them there rights. The Somali surge is working.
Vicki, if he didn’t you would have said, Obama didn’t order the terrorist shot because he wanted to put them on trial first, only captured to ensure that their rights were not violated. Instead he just ordered “HIS NAVY” to shoot and kill three people because they existed in the water with a gun pointed at an American for no reason. He wanted to torture them first at Guantanomo Prison or Abu Ghraib. Get me John Yoo! Where Condi when you need to tell the American people “We don’t torture” We don’t have “Black Secret” Prisons. Get Bush Doctrine on Torture! Bush tortured, Cheney tortured.
so, if Obama doesn’t he is a murderer who shot terrorist without putting them on trial at “SEA.”
Especially if it was your son, daughter, neighbor, or friend “burdened” with a gun pointed at their heads at sea! Can’t be burdened with a terrorist, now can we!
Maybe he should of reread George Bush 9/11 Speech, See Spot Run, See America Run! Take five! Action! My fellow Americans…..due to being asleep at the wheel, and not reading my Presidential Breifings, we are here today!
The pirates say they will not take any more hostages, they will just kill any Americans crossing their paths. I say we beat them to it.
Reports also say the American crew overtook the pirates without any weapons. Why don’t they have weapons? Can we get them some weapons?
Bush/Obama your right it is hard to see the distiction. Hypocrisy abounds. Iraq/Somali surge working.
Vickie there’s no surge in Somali, just a nation that is broke, sustained by great tyranny. Wherein mothers in the thousands, and children in the millions starving at the feet of mankind and womankind alike! Iraq was a manufactured “GETBACK” the Bush Sr., Jr. “PAYBACK.” Now we are still “burdened” with the Bush / Cheney babies. Distinction is to be; of honor, not human economic speculation war crimes!
Somali sounds like Mexico. Hope there is the same enthusiam to protect US.
