Ankarlo Still Resting

Ankarlo still needs more rest and will be home this week doing just that. He is still recovering from a severe concussion he received in a car accident two and a half weeks ago. His doctors have told him to sleep, sleep and sleep. He says he has been getting a lot of rest. I will keep you updated.

Had a concussion myself Dec 20th…Still having equilibrium problems..No smell, and only partial taste..Rest is key but you are so-o-o missed..I’m praying for your quick recovery..Diane

Don’t know if you say a previous entry of mine but I think you could use a good Native American Medicine Man ceremony. From what I’ve heard they work wonders.

We all miss hearing your great personality on the air Darrell, but I also know how important R&R is. Listen to your doctors and they will make it possible for you to accomplish the things you want with your life. Know that we are all waiting with anticipation to hear you again. Just don’t run yourself too ragad and enjoy your time home with Laurie.

Take your time. I’ve been chair-bound since April 13th. It is designed to drive one totally insane, but the alternative is physical situations we cannot abide. Looking forward to a few stolen moments in a luxurious bubble bath is changed when one must soak a wound in a tub for no less than 30 minutes twice a day. But, we must do the necessary. Allow the time to heal properly — or regret it. We’ll be here when you return. Especially those who followed you from Texas!

Really miss you on the radio. You are the only talk show host that I think is fair to all listeners and callers. I read your book last summer and e-mailed you about it. Was so shocked to get a reply the next morning. You really appreciate your fans and that is rare these days.I may not always agree with you but I respect you because I know you respect my views also. I am really not listening to KTAR as much in the morning without you. My daughter had a concussion and missed a whole semester at PSU in her senior year. Also from a car accident. So rest and get well. You are missed but your health is top priority.
Get well soon, and come back to us selfish listeners who cant abide by an unhealthy Ankarlo. Its not that that Kid or Austin aren’t doing a good job in your place, but they cant fill your shoes. Perhaps you have very large feet?

Ankarlo I miss your voice! I hope all is going great for you and your are getting the rest you need to recover from your injury. God had a plan for your life that is why you are still here. Stay blessed and make sure you are healed before you come back on the air! Stay close to God and give him praise everyday! Oh yeah don’t leave our Lord and Savior Jesus out of that he’s pretty darn awesome too.

Okay Ankarlo .. I just started listening to ya and ya had to go and get lost. Take your time healing because it takes time to heal but geesh- HURRY UP!!! :O) Kidd — AKA Darren Dammey(spelling?) is great and I think he needs a show again but YOU need to do your show because the days just aren’t the same without you. Stay strong!
Just wanting to say of course we all hope for ankarlos speedy recovery and often recovery is no that speedy. However I do think that his being off air is now simply been milked and drugout as long as he could, alright already time to get BACK TO WORK!!!!
