  3. robdell on June 3rd, 2009 8:12 pm

I truly hope you get better soon…however I do not want to hear you on the radio. They need a more moderate commentator.

  4. BILL on June 3rd, 2009 10:26 pm

Good to hear your voice on the radio. But you still sound a little weak..
Just take your time, BUT HURRY UP !!!

  5. Frances Ann on June 4th, 2009 10:29 pm

  7. Eric on June 5th, 2009 4:47 am

I heard him and I was a little disturbed. His speech was very slurred and slow. Not the guy that I had learned to hate on the radio. Wow

  8. Eric on June 5th, 2009 4:49 am

Now that Ankarlo is in sick mode, maybe KTAR’s ratings will go up. Austin Hill is doing a superb job. Much more balanced and entertaining. Less self centered and self-righteous.

  9. Eric on June 5th, 2009 4:54 am

Well Ankarlo, have you heard about Karma? Payback time for all the hatred that you have instilled hour after hour on your hate-talk radio show.

  10. Vera on June 7th, 2009 2:19 pm

To Eric and anyone else who thinks Ankarlo is a hater,

You haven’t really been listening the past couple of years if you believe that. KTAR, please do NOT hire Austin Hill no matter what. He is arrogant and doesn’t really listen to people. Although I can’t stand Kid’s voice, he does a better job than Austin. We all need to hope for Ankarlo’s full recovery.

  11. vicki on June 8th, 2009 4:44 am

Eric only a gutless, hateful lefty would use a charity spot to bash an ill talk show host.

  12. Pat Peterson on June 8th, 2009 3:36 pm

Can’t stand Austin Hill. I don’t listen when he is on. Nor do I listen when Beck is on, so from 8:30 to 3 Ktar is off my list. Kid is OK. Jim Sharpe the best . Ankarlo at least entertains as well as informs although I don’t always agree with him. This would be a perfect time for the “suits” to try out a woman or two women to hold down the fort. How about Diane and Gail or Jaimee? It’s time for KTAR to think outside the box.

  13. Carolan Quenneville on June 8th, 2009 5:31 pm

I agree with Pat P. Austin Hill often talks over people and does not let them finish their thoughts. Kid is OK and Jim Sharpe is the better of the three. I do miss Ankarlo even though I do not agree with him all the time and have switched stations when he gets a bit much for me. I miss his banter with Diane. They really seem to enjoy working together. Why not try having a couple of female hosts?

Get well Ankarlo! We’re suffering along with you!

  14. Eric on June 9th, 2009 1:27 am

Well, “Vicki” (with an “i)…..I’m not a “lefty” (although in your narrow view you might consider that a derogative calling). I can’t stand Ankarlo’s self-righteousness. Do you have a problem with my point of view?

  15. vicki on June 9th, 2009 4:33 am

Eric, it seems you are the self-righteous one here. I said nothing about your point of view. Again, this is a spot to honor a charity and someone who contributed to it but if there is a Karma for Darrell who has never wished you ill then there is a Karma for the likes of you. If you can’t stand the guy what are you doing here if it’s not to kick someone when they are down.

  16. Bob on June 9th, 2009 5:37 pm

Wow, Eric. Point of view is one thing, and a God-given right, but …. my own thoughts aside, I will simply pray for you.

  17. Eric on June 10th, 2009 4:40 am

I heard on another station…KFYI that Bruce Jacobs got fired. I hope that Ankarlo is next on KTAR to get canned.

  18. Roger Morris on June 10th, 2009 6:25 pm

Oh Great Oz Ankarlo, Hero of the Hood, “Another Man’s Sombrero” can you spare a dime for the Autistic GOP! Can you take up a collection for the better of mankind or womankind alike! Can you have a We want a Budget and not “Autism” day at the Capitol! It doesn’t help the mothers, mom, and all those mothers to be; to have such an autistic GOP and all those educational cuts, behaviorial cuts, without a cure at the end of the day! Great Oz Ankarlo, Hero of the Hood, please spare the Autistic GOP a dime for their own cure! Give a shot! Give a flu shot! Give a booster shot! Anything for them to get a clue as to why “AUTISM” is real and not just GOP!

Oh Great Oz Ankarlo, Hero of the Hood! RICO CZAR to the left! Please have another Telethon for the Autistic Cure for the GOP! Stuck on pharmaceutical way! Stuck on pschiatric street for no health success! Oh Great Oz Ankarlo, Hero of the Hood, can you please raise money for the sick, estranged autistic GOP.
Help they need somebody! Help they need somebody! He……..lp!

Call it “Chicken for Change” or “Two Tacos, rice and beans for a cure! Just please Oh Great Oz Ankarlo, get well, so you can have a Cure the GOP Telethon! Raise lots of money and they might get a clue as to what all those Healthcare cuts will do to the many of kids with true “Autism.”

Get well, because Vicki is going to bust a blood vessel, and you know how Bob gets on Two Piece Tuesdays!

  19. Paul Sullivan on June 10th, 2009 10:29 pm

    Kid rocks
    Ankarlo rocks
    Diane rocks
    Austin is OK
Eric is intolerant and probably a racist

  20. Eric on June 12th, 2009 6:22 am

I’m an intolerant? Who was the guy that stated that ALL “anchor babies” should be stripped of their AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP? Who was the one that had the bad taste of mocking Hispanics with a botched version of the “12 days of Christmas”? Who is the radio personality that kisses Arpaio’s and Thomas’ butt ever time he has an opportunity? YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.

  21. Eric on June 12th, 2009 6:23 am

I hope that Ankarlo gets canned by KTAR. He is only a closeted racist that distills hatred on the radio waves.

The stars of KTAR are Mac and Gaydos….Ankarlo can only dream to have the combined talent of these two.

  22. Paul Sullivan on June 12th, 2009 5:50 pm

That dosen’t mean that you aren’t intolerant

  23. BILL on June 12th, 2009 11:45 pm

OK I HAVE HEARD ENOUGH< I HARDLY AGREE WITH ANKARLO< BUT HE HAS A PERSONALITY!!!! I WENT BOUGHT A BAG OF DOUGHTS THAT HAVE MORE PERSONALITY THAN AUSTI HILL…ERIC YOU ARE A PUNK!!!

  24. Eric on June 13th, 2009 4:26 am

So…Billy, I’m a punk because I state the facts? Tell me what lie have I posted around here? Sorry if the truth is “hurting” you!!!

Best wishes and Gods healing power to you Ank.

As a fan of 10 yrs I saw you stop the Texas HB3 bill that would have put Texas under a Texas Income Tax.

He had us all send yellow panties to the Texas Legislators and they were so shocked,,,, they decided to vote HB3 down.

Texas don’t have a State Income Tax Today.

He did the same in Tennessee as he led thier citizens against a sneak attack by the Tennessee Governor and his plan to secretly pass the Tax there.

The Governor was shocked when Ankarlo showed up on the steps of the whgitehouse and did his show there and ask the listeners to call in and come by to protest .

This is what Ankarlo stands for.

    Thanks Ank.

  30. Sarah Sidell on July 7th, 2009 4:15 am

Hey KTAR we need an Ankarlo fix!! Fill us in maybe once a week on how he is doing. I am hearing fewer commercials with his voice too. Don’t let him go anywhere, he is such an asset to your station.
Ankarlo; Get better soon, there are a lot of people praying for you and I have to believe it must be doing some good . Can’t wait to hear your voice again on the air.

  31. Kent on July 7th, 2009 4:54 am

Come back to us Darrell, the airwaves and a lot of lives are lessened without hearing your voice!

Got something to say?
