Today on Ankarlo Mornings: More and more European men are wearing tights and wearing make up. Honestly, it freaks Ankarlo out a little bit.
Tyson Foods in Tennessee employees 700 Muslims. They wanted the final day of Ramadan off. So the company granted them that day and will have employees work on Labor Day.
In the final hour, Val has been wanting to debate Ankarlo about his book, Another Man’s Sombrero. Val got his chance, but it wasn’t much of a debate. Ankarlo also mentions Barack Obama’ s new ad in which he pledges to impose a windfall profits tax on the big oil companies.

Today on Ankarlo Mornings the staff is spread all over the place. Pablo is off. Darrin and Rob remain in Phoenix. Diane is in Flagstaff at Cardinals camp and Ankarlo is in Vegas. Diane reports from camp with Ron Wolfley and Kurt Warner.
Obama calls for a tax on Exxon Mobil and other oil companies to pay for another stimulus package. Ankarlo says socialism.
Ankarlo also chats about Sheriff Joe Arpaio latest. He arrested food vendors yesterday and all 11 of them turned out to be illegal immigrants.

Mayor Phil Gordon is calling out Sheriff Joe Arpaio in his trip to Washington, D.C. and inviting the mass media to come to Phoenix and keep an eye on the Sheriff.

Today on Ankarlo Mornings: New housing numbers show prices dipping over 20% in May for Phoenix, Las Vegas and Miami. When will they bounce back? The housing crisis is so bad an Extreme Make Over house from the hit show on ABC is up for foreclosure. Turns out the owners mortgaged the house in order to invest in a construction business. The business failed and they are out of a home. How can you mortgage something, no matter what the purpose, that was donated to and built by volunteers?
Also, a Mr. T. “Snickers” commercial is so offensive it has been banned from television. Why? Because Mr. T. shoots “Snickers” bars from a make shift gun at a speed walker while saying, “you’re a disgrace to the man race.” Keep crying.
In the final hour, Ankarlo says we let our children use the internet too much.

Today on Ankarlo Mornings: Ankarlo talks about the Church shootings in Tennessee. Why does violence always revolve around gay issues? Have you heard about the latest “shank” feature on facebook? Ankarlo is a little freaked out by it, but Diane says it is no big deal.
Ankarlo also admits that he shouldn’t redo his bathroom, but he is attempting it anyways. Yes, it’s a nightmare.
How about Obama? He was scheduled to visit wounded troops while he was in Germany. But, he didn’t end up there. McCain is taking shots at him. Is it a catch-22 for Obama?
