Today on Ankarlo Mornings: Ankarlo talks to Democrats this morning about the Colin Powell’s endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama. Does it matter? In the long run no, but it does add an interesting dynamic to the race. Several callers said this is an example of bipartisanship. But, is it really? Ankarlo wasn’t surprised by the endorsement, adding that Obama is a flip flopper for seeking out Powell’s nod. Why? Powell helped lead the country into the Iraq War and Obama called it a “dumb war.”
Several states are also looking at laws that would make private insurance companies cover therapy for children with autism. Is this just another example of spreading the wealth?
Gov. Sarah Palin made an appearance on Saturday Night Live. Funny stuff. Also, Joe the plumber is Ankarlo’s picture of America. When he thinks of America, this is the image that pops into his mind.

Here’s a good one. A William Ayers book called “To Teach” is required reading for all freshman ASU education majors in their introductory class. The same William Ayers who admits and doesn’t apologize for carrying out bombings during the 60s and 70s. How can this be required reading at ASU? And just how can a man like Ayers become celebrated in any way in the country he so wanted to destroy?
