I don’t believe there is a sign above the entrance to the jail that says in order to be incarcerated you have to be of a certain race. It seems to me that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. If everyone that tried to come in this Country back in the 30’s had a criminal record do you think we would have been around today. Read what it says at the bottom at Ellis Island. Darrello; I was an everyday listener while living & workin in Px. & living in ‘Deer Valley, during my stay. I worked at a company called Comtrans, which drove people to medical appointments & returned them home, weather it was thier own home or ‘group homes. So I always got a good oppertunity to be a steady listener to your ‘Showgram’. I was sorry to hear about your trauma accident after I left Px., and glad you are doing much better. I will keep you in my daily prayers. Recently Moved to the Las Vegas area this past May of 2009 Not to gamble, but to be near my children & my grandchildren. in this past October I suffered my 2nd stroke in 2 years time. My 1st was in Px, in 2007. And after medications, xcersizes & watchful attention from my Dr. I had a good & speedy recovery of aprox. 6 weeks. This past October like I stated, I had my 2nd & the recovery is not that quick. I also have applied for disability with the V.a. As mr Dr. said I can’t drive persons any longer. As a Vet, & Air-Force I served in Vietnam. The V.A. is taking care of my health concerns now, also applied for the Social Sec. Disabilities. So we’ll see where it goes from here. Tuesday I start my ‘Physical Therapy’ & hopefully will get somewhat better, if not close to being normal. as for now my left side is week & I walk like a drunkerd, even tho I don’t, & cannot drink!

Our family cannot begin to find words to thank everyone that stepped forward to help, with prayers and gifts for our family.
Please let everyone know, that as I went through the pictures, cards, letters, money orders, even music, and general well wishes, I thought my heart would burst from all the love I felt, I prayed for EACH of you individually, and as families that you would be blessed for your support of a stranger, not just for a soldier, but for someone in need that you have no knowledge of.
My husband is a wonderful man, and has tried to do right by his country, his family, and his church; just because it is who he is.
He (we) cannot be perfect on this earth, but we have been perfectly blessed by each one of you, that has touched our lives so very much!

I have no issue with the scans themselves - privacy is a minor concern when lives can be saved. But I keep hearing people say that the images will not be saved and I have difficulty believing this. I would think that the images would be retained for after-the-fact forensic investation purposes. Let’s say this guy on the Northwest flight had gone through a body scan in Amsterdam and passed the explosives through the scan undetected, wouldn’t security officials want to go back and review the guy’s scan image to see what went wrong or to get data to improve the imaging? It may start out as a “we won’t save the images” policy but I think it will change very quickly.
