* The NCAA pairings are set, but the Devils are not dancin’. G&A are outraged the committee would include two teams that finished below in the Devils in the Pac including one team (Arizona) they beat twice during the season. Gambo could see this coming after the Devils lost to USC last week in LA. Ash wonders why UofA would be rewarded for playing a tough schedule when they never beat any of the elite teams they played. Both agree the NIT is a tough pill to swallow for Herb Sendek’s crew.

* We were also joined by ESPN college hoops analyst Jay Bilas. Bilas was shocked when ASU was left out of the field.

What a raw deal? I’m an ASU fan since 1965, we lost 10 of our last 15 games, that isn’t a NCAA final 65 team gents, you have to beat teams not lose 2/3 rds of your last sked games, NIT win the thing and build on that, it’s the way to go and its fair - should only be 32 teams in the trny anyway, win your conference and go to trny, conference trnys are a joke it makes the regular season meaningless - kill the confernce trnys!
A beautifull thing happened yesterday as I was listening to gambo rail, cry and whine in that New York accent for the upteenth time about ASU not getting into the NCAA tournament, I switched channels… wow!! silence, positive info about sports, my stress level came down, the sun came out, the day got better, yes - it was a beautiful thing.
