Here’s what happened Thursday on Gambo & Ash

Coyotes captain Shane Doan joined Gambo & Ash while on the road. Doan is off to a solid start to the season and the ‘Yotes look to improve on their 5-5 record when they take on the Canucks tonight in Vancouver.

Red Sox pitcher and former Diamondback Curt Schilling discussed his 8th Annual Schilling FORE ALS Golf Tournament and his future heading into the 2009 season-including the chances of returning to the D-backs.  He is currently a free-agent wanting to join a team that has a chance to play in October.

Light middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe previewed his fight Saturday against Roy Jones, JR at Madison Square Garden.  Calzaghe is 45-0 with 32 knockouts.  Jones enters the fight 52-4 with 38 KO’s.

7-time Grand Slam singles champion and largely considered the “Face of Tennis” John McEnroe discussed his illustrious career, the state of the game, and The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Championship that he’s participating in out in Surprise.

Tim Legler our ESPN NBA analyst checked in for his weekly segment to break down Amare Stoudemire’s 49-point, 11-rebound masterpiece last night against the Pacers.  “Legs” also shared his thoughts on Tuesday’s Allen Iverson-Chauncey Billups blockbuster deal, and the undefeated Atlanta Hawks who beat the Hornets in New Orleans last night.
