The time of their lives

Here’s what happened Monday on G&A

Cards had…the time of their life… – The Sunday game results are in and the Cardinals will play in Carolina against the Panthers at 6:15 Saturday on Sports 620 KTAR. Gambo thinks the Cards have little hope to win their game at Carolina. Ash is a little more optimistic. Gambo wants the fans to enjoy the moment. We don’t get it very often.

A lot of Sun in Tent City – Suns new guard Jason Richardson got a DUI a few days before Christmas. Gambo doesn’t understand why this happens to guys with access to limos and cabs like Charles Barkley’s recent DUI. Ash discussed his disappointment that so many stars get away with driving drunk.

And the winner is… - G&A talked about Texas’ chances of winning the National Championship if they receive a huge amount of votes. Gambo thinks this would be a great way for voters to stick it to the BCS. Ash thinks it was set up right but believes that Texas has every right to complain about not being in the biggest bowl game.

Cardinals Defensive End Antonio Smith joined G&A today and talked about the great line play against Atlanta. Smith said Matt Ryan’s foot is what tipped them off to jump the count. He was happy that he got the Safety call while holding on to Ryan for dear life.

We had an encore presentation of our interview with the Texas head coach Mack Brown. The Longhorns take on Ohio State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl later tonight in Glendale.
