Short show after day baseball at Chase Field…
We were joined by Northern Illinois defensive end Larry English. He registered 31 ½ career sacks, 54 ½ tackles for loss, was a 3-time All MAC Defensive Team Member, and 2-time MAC Player of the Year. English is someone the Cards have had their eye on since the combine. He is expected to be a 1st-round pick on Saturday. English enjoyed his visit to Phoenix when he met the staff and feels he would be a perfect fit in the Red Birds’ scheme.
