Here’s what went down today on G&A:

* The Cardinals get a much-needed win over the Lions yesterday and the defense steps up in a big way, particular, oft-injured Karlos Dansby. The guys discussed how important Dansby is to Clancy Pendergast’s schemes and if NFC West is suddenly the Cardinals’ division to lose. Both agree the Cardinals will cut the again-injured Bertand Berry at the end of the year.

* The Browns are in a pickle: Do they re-sign the red-hot Derek Anderson or usher in The Brady Quinn Era in Cleveland next year? G&A marvel at the success Anderson has had in young NFL career. This could shape up to be another Drew Brees-Phillip Rivers mess.

* Ash celebrates as The Ohio State University is upset at The Shoe by Juice Williams and Illinois. G&A agree Ohio State and the Big-10 are overrated. Just how good is this Kansas team - Ash thinks they’re a team to watch in the BCS chase.

* G&A also breakdown how the recent BCS shakeup effects ASU. Gambo thinks the USC-ASU winner will go to the Rose Bowl and the loser to the Holiday Bowl. Ash thinks USC just isn’t that good.

* We were joined by Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin. ”Q” insists he’s healthy although his production has been down since returning from injury.
